General Purpose:
Define and execute Payless’ data governance, exploitation, and availability strategy, ensuring transversal use of data across all business areas and enabling advanced analytics for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a comprehensive Big Data strategy.
- Build and manage data platforms (Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Data Mesh).
- Develop data models and advanced analytics (ML/AI) for multiple business areas.
- Ensure data quality, security, and governance.
- Collaborate with business units to leverage data in e-commerce, physical retail, supply chain, and marketing.
Requerimientos del cargo
Technical Requirements:
- Proven experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Databricks, Flink).
- Knowledge of data governance, MDM, and data lineage.
- Experience with analytical models using Python, R, SQL, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse).
Key Competencies:
- Analytical and strategic thinking.
- Leadership in cross-functional projects.
- Strong communication skills to translate data into actionable insights.
Condiciones
Working Hours: Miami time
Language Requirements: Advanced English and Spanish
Service Type: Service Provision – 160 hours/month, Monday to Friday
