Senior Software Engineer Case Execution
  • Pivotal Health
  • New York City
dev front end python customer support

About Pivotal Health

Pivotal Health is the leading technology platform that helps healthcare providers get paid fairly in an increasingly complex reimbursement landscape.

Today, many providers face persistent underpayment from health insurance companies, despite delivering high-quality care. While processes like IDR (Independent Dispute Resolution) were designed to promote fairness, they’re often administrative-heavy, time-consuming, and difficult to navigate without the right tools.

Pivotal Health combines software, data, and service into a seamlessly integrated, AI-driven platform that simplifies these complex reimbursement workflows. We help providers efficiently dispute underpaid claims, reduce administrative burden, and recover the reimbursement they’re entitled to; without adding more work to already stretched teams.

Our full-service IDR solution is just the starting point. We’re building solutions that enable providers to operate with clarity, control, and confidence across the reimbursement journey.

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join Pivotal's Case Execution team. This team owns critical parts of the case execution workflow, including eligibility, batching, submissions, ops workflows, and claim orchestration. These systems sit at the operational core of how Pivotal delivers outcomes for providers.

This is a strong fit for an engineer who enjoys solving complex, workflow-driven backend problems and working through data-heavy decision logic. The most technically demanding areas for this team are eligibility and batching, and the right person is energized by that kind of work rather than looking to avoid it.

What You'll Do

  • Build and improve core case execution systems: Own backend development across eligibility, batching, submissions, ops workflows, and claim orchestration. These are the systems that determine how cases move through Pivotal's platform and reach resolution.

  • Tackle complex, data-driven backend problems: Work through the decision logic and data-heavy workflows that make eligibility and batching hard, understanding not just how individual systems work, but how they interact across the broader platform.

  • Contribute to workflow orchestration: Build and improve the systems that coordinate how cases are staged, routed, and executed end to end, with a clear eye toward correctness and reliability.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with the Integrations team, Case Strategy team, and other engineering and product partners to ensure systems are well-connected and aligned with how the broader platform operates.

  • Contribute to front-end and admin workflows where needed: The role is primarily backend-focused, but you'll contribute to internal-facing UI and ops tooling where the product requires it.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong backend focus

  • Strong engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience building data-heavy, workflow-oriented systems

  • Experience working on complex, data-driven decision logic or orchestration problems: you're comfortable with systems where correctness and sequencing both matter

  • Comfortable operating in a collaborative, fast-moving startup environment where ownership and requirements evolve

  • Python experience; able to work effectively in a Python-based backend environment

  • Self-directed and proactive: you identify problems and drive them to resolution without heavy oversight

  • Strong communicator who collaborates well across engineering, product, and adjacent teams

Extra Credit If You Have

  • Experience with healthcare-specific data or HealthTech systems

  • Exposure to data-heavy architectures or problems adjacent to data engineering without being a pure data engineer

  • Familiarity with tools like Snowflake, dbt, or Databricks

  • Some front-end experience to support admin workflow contributions

Why You’ll Love Working Here

We’re a collaborative, low-ego team on a mission to make healthcare reimbursement fairer for providers. While we primarily hire around our core hubs–Los Angeles and New York–we remain open to exceptional talent outside those regions. Remote and hybrid flexibility varies by role and team, and is outlined in each job description.

If you’re excited by solving complex problems and making a real-world impact, we’d love to hear from you.

Benefits Include:

  • Competitive compensation, including equity

  • Full health, dental, and vision coverage

  • Retirement savings plan through 401(k)

  • Flexible time off

  • Opportunities for company-wide connection and events

Ready to Make an Impact?
We’re building something meaningful; and we want you on the team.

Bring your ideas, curiosity, and drive, and let’s transform healthcare reimbursement together.

Job Summary

This position is on the team building StrongDM, now part of Delinea—the universal access management platform that secures and audits access to databases, servers, Kubernetes clusters, and web applications. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will apply deep expertise across distributed systems, security, and cloud architecture to help shape the technical direction of StrongDM’s proxy and control-plane platform. You will take on the platform’s most complex and ambiguous engineering challenges, exercise independent judgment on architecture and design decisions that span multiple teams, and serve as a recognized subject matter expert on secure, high-scale distributed systems written in Go. You will report to the team’s engineering manager.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the architecture and technical direction of highly concurrent, distributed backend systems in Go (Golang), setting engineering standards that extend across multiple teams within StrongDM and Delinea.

  • Drive design decisions for the proxy data plane (gateways and relays) and control-plane services, evaluating tradeoffs on the platform’s most complex and ambiguous technical problems.

  • Partner with architects, product managers, and DevOps/SRE leadership to shape multi-quarter system roadmaps, translating broader business priorities into concrete technical strategy.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on secure network protocols and cryptographic systems (TLS/mTLS, credential brokering, key management), guiding their application across the platform.

  • Lead code and design reviews across teams, holding a high bar for performance, security, and maintainability, and coach engineers on applying that bar independently.

  • Investigate and resolve the most challenging technical issues in distributed, multi-cloud production environments, often requiring evaluation of ambiguous or intangible tradeoffs.

  • Author and maintain architectural and technical strategy documentation that informs decisions beyond your immediate team.

  • Mentor engineers across the team and may direct the work of others, building the cross-team relationships that help align engineering execution with company objectives.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related technical discipline.

  • 8+ years of professional experience working as a software engineer, with deep expertise in Go (Golang), distributed systems, and backend/network service development at scale.

  • Demonstrated experience architecting highly concurrent, distributed systems and exercising independent judgment on methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria, including Go’s standard networking and cryptography libraries.

  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, network protocols, and API design (gRPC/Protobuf and/or RESTful APIs), with the ability to reason about tradeoffs across an entire system.

  • Experience with AWS (or another major cloud provider) and cloud-native deployment models at production scale.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to convey advanced technical concepts and persuade diverse stakeholders and audiences.

  • Proven ability to build formal working relationships and coordinate across multiple teams and functions.

  • Conceptual thinking skills sufficient to understand advanced technical issues and their broader implications for the business.

  • Demonstrated track record mentoring engineers and being recognized as a subject matter expert others turn to for guidance.

We’d Love to See:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) beyond a single provider.

  • Experience establishing or influencing engineering-wide standards for Terraform automation and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Deep expertise with secure protocols, mTLS and PKI, secrets management (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault), and credential brokering.

  • Familiarity with proxying database, SSH/RDP, Kubernetes, and HTTP traffic, and with building CLI or desktop client tooling.

  • Experience shaping Zero Trust architecture strategy, just-in-time access models, and policy-as-code (e.g., Cedar) at an organizational level.

For this Job, Delinea is not considering candidates that need any type of US work authorization now or in the future. This includes, but is not limited to: F1-OPT, F1-CPT, H-1B, TN, L-1, J1, etc.

Position Summary

As a Senior Product Manager for Delinea Platform Shared Services, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the strategic vision for the foundational services that power every product on the Delinea Platform. You will own the platform's shared services portfolio — including the policy service, workflow orchestration and approval services, inbox, and notifications — capabilities that every product team builds on and every customer touches daily. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of platform product management, workflow and policy-driven systems, and has a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling shared services in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate a compelling vision and strategy for the platform's shared services — policy, workflow (including the approval service), inbox, and notifications — aligning it with overall company goals.

  • Collaborate with customers as well as external and internal stakeholders to understand end-user needs and validate product requirements for policy authoring, approval workflows, and notification experiences.

  • Collaborate with internal business unit product teams: gather their requirements, understand their roadmaps, and design shared services that are easy to adopt, extend, and build upon.

  • Drive the development of a robust, flexible policy framework that enables consistent, auditable policy definition and enforcement across the platform.

  • Own the workflow and approval service roadmap, delivering orchestration capabilities that support complex, multi-step approval chains, delegation, escalation, and audit requirements.

  • Define and evolve the platform inbox and notification services to deliver timely, actionable, and well-governed communications across channels, with sensible defaults and user-level control.

  • Champion API-first, self-service design, and establish adoption metrics to measure success.

  • Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies — including policy-as-code, workflow orchestration patterns, and event-driven architectures — to inform the product roadmap.

  • Work closely with engineering, design, architecture, and other cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and deliver features.

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or similar preferred.

  • 5+ years of proven experience in product management, with a focus on platform services, shared/foundational capabilities, or related areas.

  • Solid understanding of platform product management principles: multi-tenancy, API-first design.

  • Experience with one or more of the shared-service domains primarily policy engines, policy-as-code and workflow orchestration systems.

  • Familiarity with security, compliance, and audit requirements for enterprise workflows and approvals (e.g., separation of duties, audit trails).

  • Track record of successfully bringing platform capabilities to market and driving their adoption across multiple product teams.

  • Working knowledge of public cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and event-driven, microservices-based architectures.

  • Experience in identity security, PAM, or the broader cybersecurity space is a huge plus.

  • Pragmatic Marketing/Scrum Product Owner certifications are a plus.

  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills, and a curious attitude with a desire to collaborate with a team of first-rate engineers, designers, and other Product Managers.

Travel Expectation: Up to 25%

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Design, build, and operate first-party AI tools and platforms that serve internal teams and Wealthsimple clients.

  • Develop full-stack features across React frontends and Golang backend services, delivering complete, production-ready systems.

  • Build and maintain containerized microservices, ensuring our AI platforms are reliable, scalable, and easy to deploy.

  • Integrate large language models and other AI capabilities into our tools through well-designed APIs and service layers.

  • Contribute to platform architecture decisions, helping shape how AI systems are built and operated at Wealthsimple.

  • Iterate quickly on new features and prototypes, balancing speed of delivery with long-term maintainability.

  • Establish patterns and best practices for AI system development that other teams can adopt.

Our technologies:

  • React for frontend development

  • Golang for backend services

  • Container-based architecture (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • AWS infrastructure

  • PostgreSQL and Redis for data persistence and caching

  • LLM APIs and AI/ML tooling

  • Datadog, Sentry, and Mixpanel for monitoring and observability

  • AI-assisted development workflow

What you bring:

  • Experience building and shipping production software as a full-stack or backend-focused developer.

  • Strong proficiency in Golang and React, or demonstrated ability to ramp quickly on both.

  • Hands-on experience with containerized architectures (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native deployment patterns.

  • Interest in or experience with AI/ML systems, LLM integrations, or building AI-powered products.

  • Ability to work across the full stack - from crafting user interfaces to designing APIs and backend services.

  • A product-oriented mindset: you care about the end-user experience and work with stakeholders to deliver features that solve real problems.

  • Clear communication with both technical and non-technical teams.

  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities and technology evolve quickly.

Nice-to-have's:

  • Experience building developer tools, internal platforms, or productivity software.

  • Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), prompt engineering, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns.

  • Background in building event-driven or streaming architectures.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.

  • Background in financial services or regulated industries.

Supply & Logistics Coordinator
  • Nabu Casa
  • Madrid, Madrid, Comunidad de Madrid, España
analyst teaching customer support data science
About Nabu Casa

Nabu Casa is the organisation behind Home Assistant, the world's largest free and open-source smart home platform used by over two million households. We were founded to ensure the project's sustainability, and in 2024, we partnered with the Open Home Foundation to protect and promote a wide range of open-source initiatives. Our guiding principles—privacy, choice, and sustainability—are embedded in everything we do, from our architecture to our community.

We are a profitable company with no external investors. Our funding comes directly from users who subscribe to Home Assistant Cloud and purchase Home Assistant hardware, ensuring our only stakeholders are our employees and our users. We also support other open-source projects, including those focused on hardware, standards, and voice technology.

The Role

Nabu Casa is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to own the flow of our hardware products — from manufacturers to distributors, and ultimately to the homes of the people running Home Assistant.

As the official provider of Home Assistant hardware, we ship to a passionate global community, and this role is central to keeping that operation running reliably. You'll own the day-to-day: purchase orders, manufacturer coordination, logistics, distributor support, inventory, and RMA handling — and you'll be the person who turns how we do these things into documented, repeatable processes.

As part of our continued commercial growth, we are expanding the Commercial team with several key hires that will help shape the next phase of Nabu Casa’s global operations and partner ecosystem. This role will play an important part in supporting and scaling our international hardware operations across regions and distribution channels.

We're hiring because we're growing fast and need someone to take full ownership so the work scales with us. You'll have real autonomy from day one: if a shipment is delayed, a distributor has an urgent issue, or stock needs to be allocated across regions, you take it and drive it to resolution.

You'll work closely with our Global Channel Manager, Hardware team, and Finance team, and directly with manufacturers, distributors, and logistics partners. You'll be part of the Commercial team and report to our VP Commercial, based in Norway.

Why this role, and why now

  • You'll own a function, not a queue. This is a step up for someone who has coordinated logistics or supply chain inside a more structured company and is ready to run the whole thing themselves. Success looks like the supply chain operating well without anyone above you in the daily detail.
  • You'll build the structure, not just maintain it. We're small and deliberately light on process. You'll bring the good practices you've seen elsewhere, document them as SOPs, and shape how this function works as the company scales.
  • It's operational and strategic. Beyond running the day-to-day, you'll analyse forecast data to decide when and how much to order, and use modern tools — including AI-assisted workflows — to do it well.
  • AI works for you here. We invest in AI to support our people, not replace them.
  • Stable and mission-driven. Profitable, no investors, funded by the community we serve. You're building something that lands in millions of real homes.

What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end flow of hardware products from manufacturers to distributors across multiple regions
  • Place and manage manufacturer purchase orders and track them through to delivery
  • Coordinate directly with manufacturers on lead times, production schedules, shipment planning, and day-to-day issues
  • Support distributors with back-office tasks: order coordination, delivery updates, and issue resolution
  • Manage order flow, inventory updates, and data in NetSuite
  • Handle partial deliveries, stock allocation decisions, and inventory coordination across regions
  • Coordinate global logistics with freight forwarders and logistics partners
  • Run the RMA process end to end, including coordination, root-cause tracking, and reconciliation with manufacturers
  • Analyse forecast data and inventory levels to support purchasing decisions on when and how much to order
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures and supply chain documentation
  • Identify bottlenecks and continuously improve the supply chain as the company scales
  • Work cross-functionally with the Hardware, Commercial, and Finance teams to keep everything aligned

What You Need To Have

  • 4+ years in supply chain, logistics, purchasing, or operations, with direct, hands-on ownership of the work
  • Direct experience coordinating with manufacturers — placing and managing purchase orders, and working with them on lead times and production schedules. Experience with factories in China (or elsewhere in Asia) is strongly preferred
  • Cultural fluency communicating with international manufacturing partners, particularly in Asia — you understand professional norms and know when directness or informality is and isn't appropriate
  • A practical grasp of inventory management, stock allocation, and partial deliveries — you've solved these problems for real, not just in theory
  • Experience coordinating international shipments and logistics
  • Experience with an ERP system (NetSuite, SAP, Odoo, or similar) and confidence placing POs and managing deliveries within one
  • A track record of bringing structure: documenting processes, writing SOPs, and improving workflows — ideally drawn from a company that already had solid supply chain practices you can adapt for us
  • The ability to operate independently with minimal structure and high ownership in a fast-moving environment
  • An analytical mindset — comfortable using reporting and forecast data to drive decisions
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills

It would be great if you also have

  • Specific experience with NetSuite
  • Experience in hardware, consumer electronics, or e-commerce operations (e-commerce is a great fit if you've had direct contact with manufacturers)
  • Familiarity with AI tools and automation workflows
  • Experience supporting distributor or channel operations
  • Personal experience using Home Assistant, and an affinity with open-source, community-driven products

What we offer You

Nabu Casa is a fully remote company that uses Remote to employ people from all over the world. You will be a normal salaried employee in your country, and no work visa is required.

For the purpose of team communication, we do try to ensure at least 3 hours of overlap in the workday. You will be part of the Commercial team, and you will report to our VP Commercial, based in Norway (UTC +01:00 / +02:00).

Core to the establishment of Nabu Casa was the well-being of the people building Home Assistant. We will provide all the benefits required by the country you reside in. However, we also want to make sure all our employees, regardless of country of origin, get at least a minimal set of benefits, including:

  • Five weeks (twenty-five days) of paid time off
  • Fourteen days of paid sick leave if your country/laws treat them as unpaid
  • Six weeks of paid and six weeks of unpaid parental leave to be used in the first year after birth. We will provide the missing days if your country/laws do not provide such compensation

  • A monthly smart home budget to ensure you keep up-to-date with the latest that smart homes offer
  • A 50% contribution to your internet connection fee at your home workspace
  • If you are currently working on Home Assistant-related side projects, you can spend work time maintaining them

When first offering a position to a new member, Nabu Casa aims to provide a total compensation package that matches the 75th percentile for the new hire's role, seniority, and local market rates. In our primary operating countries, the approximate yearly compensation will be the following:

Greece: 34.000 - 46.600 EUR

Hungary: 15.000.000 - 19.600.000 HUF

Romania: 178.000 - 221.000 RON

Spain: 49.000 - 68.000 EUR

UK: 56.200 - 74.000 GBP

  • Other countries: Compensation can be discussed during the first interview.

About Us

Nabu Casa funds the development of Home Assistant and other projects at the Open Home Foundation. Nabu Casa is best known as the organization driving the development of Home Assistant, the world's largest free and open-source smart home platform. More than two million households benefit from its home automation capabilities. Powered by a worldwide community of open-source developers, GitHub ranked it the most active open-source project in the world in 2024.

We were initially founded to ensure that the development of Home Assistant would remain sustainable as it kept growing, but over time it has grown to support more open home initiatives. In 2024, the Open Home Foundation was formed to protect these open-source projects and ensure they thrive into the future. Nabu Casa is a commercial partner of the foundation, and our principles are aligned with a joint commitment to privacy, choice, and sustainability in the smart home. These are the values that we put at the heart of every decision we make. It's woven into our architecture, licensing, community, and everything else.

Nabu Casa is profitable, has no external investors, and our only funding comes from people subscribing to Home Assistant Cloud and buying Home Assistant hardware. That means the only stakeholders we have to concern ourselves with are our employees and our users.

Supply & Logistics Coordinator
  • Nabu Casa
  • Dublin, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland
analyst teaching customer support data science

This is a full-time position for 40 hours per week. Because we are a fully remote company, there is no fixed schedule.

  • A budget to equip your home workspace once you start. After three years, you may keep this equipment for personal use

Italy: 49.100 - 67.100 EUR

Poland: 260.000 - 330.000 PLN

Portugal: 44.500 - 59.700 EUR

When questions arise or something doesn't behave as expected, we investigate what happened, explain it clearly, and drive toward a solution.

This role sits at the intersection of payroll expertise and technical product knowledge, and the work is fast-moving, analytical, and highly investigative. A typical day involves untangling complex payroll scenarios, identifying root causes, partnering across the company to solve problems, and communicating clearly with partners whose payroll expertise may range from seasoned professionals to first-time operators. Along the way, you'll develop deep expertise in Check's platform, payroll operations, and the broader payroll ecosystem while building trusted relationships with the partner teams you support.

Support sits at the center of Check's product ecosystem. We work closely with Engineering, Product, Tax, Risk, and other teams to troubleshoot issues, surface product insights, and improve the platform. Few roles offer the same visibility into how modern payroll infrastructure operates at scale. If you enjoy solving layered problems, asking thoughtful questions, and translating technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance, you'll thrive here.

In This Role, You Will

  • Provide exceptional partner support. You'll manage a high volume of partner requests, primarily through written communication, balancing urgency with thoughtful investigation while consistently meeting or exceeding SLAs.
  • Investigate complex payroll problems. You'll dive deep into payroll and tax questions, break issues into manageable pieces, trace root causes through our systems, and drive issues toward resolution with accuracy, curiosity, and ownership.
  • Collaborate across the company to resolve issues. You'll partner closely with Engineering, Product, Tax, Risk, and other teams to troubleshoot issues, escalate bugs, and help drive solutions that unblock partners quickly.
  • Surface patterns and improve the system. You'll identify recurring partner questions, operational friction points, and product trends, surfacing insights that improve documentation, workflows, and product behavior.
  • Build trusted relationships. Whether you’re working with experienced payroll professionals or teams who are brand new to the industry, you’ll build trust by bringing empathy, ownership, and transparency to every interaction and explaining technical or operational issues in ways they understand.
  • Escalate thoughtfully. You’ll exercise careful judgment about how and when to pull others in on a problem or escalate upward, and you’ll ensure everyone has clear context so they can quickly understand the problem and help identify a path to resolution.
  • Deliver service that feels personal. You’ll build lasting relationships with our partners by developing a deep understanding of their platforms and the businesses they serve. You’ll establish yourself as a reliable and trusted resource by making people feel heard, helped, and valued.

Many backgrounds could fit this role, but ideal candidates will have most or all of the following:

  • 2+ years in a client- or partner-facing role, supporting customers, partners, or technical products.
  • 1+ years working at a payroll provider, payroll platform, HR technology company, fintech company, or in a role that required applying payroll knowledge to solve customer problems
  • Experience balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced support or operations environment
  • Strong investigative instincts and genuine curiosity to understand not just what happened, but why
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while solving complex problems
  • Comfortable collaborating across technical, operational, and administrative teams to solve partner problems and enable new business capabilities
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical or operational concepts clearly and empathetically
  • Experience using ticketing or case management systems (Zendesk preferred)
  • Willingness and availability to attend our annual 3 day company offsite each spring

Travel & Office Policy

The Check team is distributed across the US. Roles can be remote, hybrid, or based in one of our offices in New York City or San Francisco. We offer ample opportunities and encourage employees to attend team offsites, events, and hackathons throughout year. All Checketeers gather in the spring for our annual 3-day company retreat.

For our in-office and hybrid employees, our offices are open all week. We provide meals on Tuesdays and Thursdays and there are regular happy hours, game nights, and other in-person events.

Remote work at Check requires the ability to perform all responsibilities without distraction or disruption, while maintaining quality, effective communication, and productivity.

  • Check is proud to be an Equal Opportunity employer. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, transgender status, sexual stereotypes, age, status as a protected veteran, status as an individual with a disability, or other applicable legally protected characteristics. We also consider qualified applicants with criminal histories, provided they are consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws. Supply & Logistics Coordinator
    • Nabu Casa
    • Roma, Roma, Lazio, Italia
analyst teaching customer support data science

This is a full-time position for 40 hours per week. Because we are a fully remote company, there is no fixed schedule.

    • A monthly smart home budget to ensure you keep up-to-date with the latest that smart homes offer
    • A 50% contribution to your internet connection fee at your home workspace
    • If you are currently working on Home Assistant-related side projects, you can spend work time maintaining them

When first offering a position to a new member, Nabu Casa aims to provide a total compensation package that matches the 75th percentile for the new hire's role, seniority, and local market rates. In our primary operating countries, the approximate yearly compensation will be the following:

    Romania: 178.000 - 221.000 RON

    Spain: 49.000 - 68.000 EUR

    UK: 56.200 - 74.000 GBP

    • Other countries: Compensation can be discussed during the first interview.

We're looking for a Python Developer to join a high-impact team building core infrastructure for one of our company's most critical initiatives. You'll architect the connectivity layer between internal systems and the external platforms they depend on — designing for reliability, scale, and security from day one.

You'll work directly with the Team Lead and senior engineers, contributing to architectural decisions that have real product impact.

    What You'll Do

    • Own system reliability — build distributed systems that hold up under real financial workloads, with a relentless focus on scalability and security.
    • Translate business requirements into technical architecture, working across product, design, and engineering.
    • Raise the bar on code quality — write clean, testable, efficient Python code and lead thorough code reviews.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of Python development experience with deep backend expertise.
    • Proven track record building high-performance APIs with FastAPI or other ASGI-based frameworks.
    • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and distributed systems design.
    • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub preferred), Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
    • Strong SQL and NoSQL database skills — MariaDB, MongoDB, or similar.
    • The architectural judgment to make the right call under pressure.
    • Clear, direct communication — equally effective with engineers and product leads.

Will be a plus: Experience with SSO and Identity Providers, particularly Keycloak.

What Will You Get With Kindgeek

Depending on how long you stay in the company, you can receive different health insurance packages from our partners.

Personal growth: as a part of our team, you will have access to corporate English courses with a 50% reimbursement, take advantage of our offline library and access a large selection of corporate training and classes. Also, every employee can request any internal or external training or certification if it applies to his or her work responsibilities.

Geek community: at Kindgeek, we value community – even in the full-scale invasion times, we take every opportunity to stick together. Our geeks organise various online and offline clubs – from stretching and skiing to English. We volunteer together and support each other.

    We encourage you to apply

    Supply & Logistics Coordinator
    • Nabu Casa
    • Athens, Athens, Attiki, Greece
analyst teaching customer support data science

This is a full-time position for 40 hours per week. Because we are a fully remote company, there is no fixed schedule.

    • A budget to equip your home workspace once you start. After three years, you may keep this equipment for personal use

    Italy: 49.100 - 67.100 EUR

    Poland: 260.000 - 330.000 PLN

    Portugal: 44.500 - 59.700 EUR

    Romania: 178.000 - 221.000 RON

    Spain: 49.000 - 68.000 EUR

    UK: 56.200 - 74.000 GBP

    • Other countries: Compensation can be discussed during the first interview.

    About Us

Nabu Casa is best known as the organization driving the development of Home Assistant, the world's largest free and open-source smart home platform. More than two million households benefit from its home automation capabilities. Powered by a worldwide community of open-source developers, GitHub ranked it the most active open-source project in the world in 2024.

    • PostgreSQL
    • AWS
    • OpenAI APIs
    • Stripe
    • Twilio

    What We're Looking For

    Must Have

    • Experience building production-grade applications
    • Strong understanding of APIs, databases, and system design

    Remote-First

Work from anywhere. We care about results, not hours.

This Role Is Not For You If

    • You're looking for a predictable corporate environment
    • You prefer maintaining systems rather than building them
    • You need constant direction and supervision
    • You avoid ownership outside your immediate responsibilities
    • You are uncomfortable with change, ambiguity, and rapid execution
