The Problem
Compliance is a $50B global challenge. Enterprise legal and compliance teams spend a significant amount of time manually reviewing documents against policy, spotting regulatory risk, and signing off on content before go-to-market. It's painful and it's mission-critical.
We're building the infrastructure that makes this manageable at scale. You'll be working on systems that directly reduce risk and unlock productivity for some of the world's largest organisations.
The Role
As our first US based Engineer; you'll be the technical bridge between our product vision and our customers' reality.
You're a full-stack engineer who thrives at the intersection of innovation and execution, building our platform while staying connected to the teams actually using it.
You'll split your time between heads-down building (shipping code that matters) and being engaged with customers, understanding their pain points firsthand, iterating on features in real-time, and using that feedback to shape our product direction.
You'll own end-to-end technical decisions: designing systems, shipping to production, and iterating based on direct customer interaction.
This is high-autonomy work. You'll collaborate directly with our founding team, move at startup velocity, and have genuine influence over both our architecture and product roadmap.

You've built full-stack systems at meaningful scale; you're equally comfortable architecting backend services and shipping frontend code that customers interact with daily
You're deep on one or more of: Go, Node.js/TypeScript, or Python, and you're fluent enough across the stack to own features end-to-end
You understand APIs, distributed systems, and the tradeoffs between speed and reliability in production environments

The Role
As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the server-side components of our applications. Responsibilities
API & Service Architecture - Design and build RESTful or GraphQL APIs, microservices, and business logic using Node.js and TypeScript.
Database Design & Integration - Model data and manage queries using Supabase and PostgreSQL, including functions, row-level security, and real-time features.
Cloud Infrastructure - Deploy and manage services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly with Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, IAM, and Pub/Sub.
Code Quality & Testing - Write clean, testable code using unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest). Contribute to code reviews and quality assurance practices.

About the Role
As a Software Engineer on the Payment Operations team, you will be responsible for the execution layer that ensures every dollar on Wingspan's platform is accounted for, reconciled, and moved accurately on time. As a Software Engineer at Palantir, youâll own every phase of the product lifecycleâfrom generating ideas and designing prototypes to executing features and shipping releasesâwhile being paired with a dedicated mentor who champions your growth. Salary
The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $145,000 - $155,000/year. Total compensation for this position may also include Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonus and other potential future incentives. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individualâs relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors. This estimate excludes the value of any potential sign-on bonus; the value of any benefits offered; and the potential future value of any long-term incentives.

The role
Nabu Casa is looking for a full-time backend developer to join our Cloud & Infrastructure team and work primarily on Home Assistant Cloud services.
As one of the most active open-source projects in the world, Home Assistant exists because of its community. To empower this community and allow more users to enjoy the harder-to-reach features of Home Assistant, we have created our subscription service, Home Assistant Cloud. This service gives the community access to features usually reserved for power users with expensive hardware at home. Current features such as remote access and text-to-speech / speech-to-text support are made available without ever compromising on privacy. We're looking for someone who will maintain the existing features and infrastructure and help us create valuable new features with efficiency and privacy in mind.

Nabu Casa is a fully remote organization that uses Remote to employ people from all over the world. You will be a normal salaried employee in your country.
This is a full-time position for 40 hours per week. Because we are a fully remote company, there is no fixed schedule. For the purpose of team communication, we do try to ensure at least 3 hours of overlap in the workday. You will report to our Cloud teamâs engineering manager, based in France.

Role Description
The Digital Media Specialistâs primary responsibility is maintaining and building ALDFâs digital presence across websites and paid advertising channels. The role coordinates and builds content on aldf.org and other subsites, including advocacy and campaign pages and online action centers. The position also helps to design and implement digital advertising campaigns and analytics reporting, ensuring digital content drives engagement and supports the organizationâs priority areas of work.
How You Will Make a Difference
Website
- Publish diverse legal and advocacy-driven content on the ALDF website, including landing pages and action centers, utilizing multiple templates and complex taxonomy.
- Update webpages on a rolling basis, with information supplied by program departments.

- Select, crop, and size photos for the website, following organizational photography standards.
- Serve as a final check before publishing, coordinating edits as needed.

Your Role
- Maintain all equipment in good condition with minimal downtime by providing daily maintenance of the hotel under the direction of the Engineering Management.

- Regularly test pool water quality and pH balance.
- Keep manual or automated records of all activities and prepare reports.

- Ability and willingness to work regularly in the pools for extended periods while operating standard pool maintenance machinery, such as vacuum pumps and common pool cleaning tools, lakes, etc.

Our Core team is responsible for the engine driving the companyâs key goals such as adding more relevant insurance products with great prices on our website and delivering relevant insurance documents to our customers with ease.
The Payments Team is responsible for understanding, evaluating, and improving our checkout experience which includes customer data confirmation, e-sign, financing, payment collection and invoicing integrations backed by third-party solutions
As a Tech Lead, you will bring deep technical expertise to help steer the Engineering team's technical direction, reinforcing our culture of iterative, autonomous development and deployment. Your primary focus will be on addressing security and scalability considerations, collaborating closely with the Product Manager, Team Lead, Engineers, and Staff Developers to design and implement systems and processes that enable your team to deliver effectively.
As a senior member of the team, you can articulate your thinking clearly, discuss complex ideas with ease, and manage your time well to meet important deadlines while also mentoring other team members as needed.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will design and implement solutions for both the front-end application and the back-end APIs.
This is a remote-first role within Canada. #LI-Remote
\n- Collaborate with project stakeholders and the development team to design, build, and implement scalable, user-friendly apps and libraries using Node, React, and Typescript.
- Collaborate with Product Management to examine, adjust, and break down roadmap items into epics and break down epics into discreet, actionable, appropriately sized tickets in the teamâs backlog.
- Provide a technical perspective on organizational objectives within the teamâs scope of activities. Analyze requirements, identify areas of concern, and provide recommendations based on your extensive technical background.
- Using POC models provided by Staff Developers, design and implement systems and infrastructure in accordance with the teamâs vision and culture.
- Adhere to the organizationâs security strategy using a security-first mindset.
- Discuss various strategies and architecture and highlight tradeoffs for potential solutions.
- Perform code reviews, ensuring that pull requests accurately reflect the acceptance criteria of the tickets they address.
- Use quality metrics to identify gaps in the testing strategy.
- Work with teams to recommend solutions that are in accordance with accepted testing frameworks.
- Manage and optimize the integration of third-party systems into our infrastructure while ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of these systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify integration needs, implement solutions, and monitor system performance to guarantee uninterrupted service delivery.
- Define and prioritize areas of technical debt and bugs, taking into consideration outcomes of the incident management process and addressing them with the team.
- Foster a culture of iterative deployability with awareness of cycle time and failure rates.
- Coach and mentor the development team and work to expand their technical knowledge and skills.
- Use a systematic approach to debugging to diagnose issues within the application.
- Write unit tests as well as higher-level tests to ensure application quality and stability.
- Consistently produce production-ready code that is easily testable, easily understandable, and accounts for edge cases and errors, using comments and other documentation strategies where appropriate.
- Follow Agile practices, suggest improvements, and participate in team events.
- Develop a strong understanding of the companyâs goals and initiatives and help the engineering team deliver on those goals/initiatives.
- Ensure technical standards such as accessibility, performance, security, maintainability, functional correctness, operability and observability are observed in the modules developed and maintained by the team.
- Document decisions, research and guides to foster and build a culture of continuous learning and continuous improvement.
- University degree or college diploma in a recognized technical, vocational or academic program or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of experience building rich, complex and scalable APIs, including integration with third party APIs.
- 5+ years of building front-end web applications using modern Javascript frameworks.
- 2+ experience in designing scalable and distributed systems.
- Experience mentoring other developers.
- Extensive full-stack experience working with React/Redux/Node/Typescript/PostgreSQL and Javascript.
- Extensive experience with the Scrum framework and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with DORA metrics to measure the DevOps Performance and experience in communicating whatâs been measured with the team.
- Experience architecting and augmenting large software systems.
- Experience with Javascript development toolings like WebPack, Babel, and Storybook.
- Experience with Unit Testing frameworks like Jest/Mocha.
- Experience building and/or working with micro-services and micro front-ends.
- Experience working with test automation frameworks like Cypress, Nightwatch, Selenium, and BrowserStack.
- Experience working with Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Pulumi and AWS.
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.

- Experiencia en roles como Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer o Technical Account Manager.
- Capacidad para desarrollar soluciones con Python, JavaScript, APIs o integraciones.
- Experiencia participando en procesos de venta consultiva.
- Excelentes habilidades de comunicación oral y escrita.

Key Responsibilities
Front-End Development
- Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly websites and interfaces for healthcare and medical clients.

Required Qualifications
- 0â2 years of front-end development experience (internships, freelance work, and personal projects are welcome).
- Experience building real-world websites or web applications is a plus.
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field â or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first development principles.
- Basic knowledge of front-end frameworks or libraries such as React or Vue is a plus.
- Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms is preferred.
- Understanding of SEO-friendly front-end practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience working with design collaboration tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
- Basic understanding of performance optimization and browser compatibility.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote team environment.

The Problems Youâll Solve
Rebuy and its team members continually strive to create a high-spirited, intentional work environment that stresses performance, productivity, collaboration, and merit.
As a Sr. Software Engineer, Back-End, youâll own some of the most consequential systems at Rebuy. Your primary anchor is our billing and payments infrastructure â the engine that determines how merchants are charged, how partners get paid, and how financial balances flow across our entire product suite. This is genuinely complex financial engineering. It requires deep PHP and Go expertise, careful architecture, and judgment that no automated tool can replicate. Merchant billing runs daily, touches real revenue, and demands someone who understands both the technical and business dimensions of every decision.
Alongside billing, youâll grow into a broader platform portfolio â the partner portal, data ETL pipelines, customer-facing APIs, and reporting infrastructure that power the business. And in the near term, youâll play a critical role in a significant technical migration: moving our legacy Code Igniter 2 codebase to Code Igniter 4, including work tied to increasing our enterprise market share. This migration requires hands-on PHP expertise and cannot be deferred.
You wonât be handed a sprawling list of things you must do on day one. Youâll be trusted to grow into this role â and rewarded when you do.
Billing & Payments Architecture: Design and build Rebuyâs centralized billing system that handles merchant billing, partner payments, and customer-facing charges. Architect the integration layer that allows payment balances to be applied across Rebuyâs full suite of services. Tackle genuinely complex financial engineering challenges with PHP and Go at scale.
Build Robust APIs: Design and implement secure, well-structured APIs in PHP and Go to power billing events, payment processing, and financial data flows across our platform and Shopify integrations.
Legacy Modernization: Lead and contribute to the migration of our Code Igniter 2 codebase to Code Igniter 4. This is high-priority, near-term work with real business dependencies â including enterprise partnership commitments â and requires a PHP engineer with the experience and judgment to do it right.
Agentify the Platform: Partner with product and engineering to identify where AI agents can automate workflows, surface insights, and guide merchants through our product. Build the backend systems â APIs, data pipelines, and event hooks â that enable intelligent automation. This is genuinely new territory and one of the most exciting growth vectors for Rebuyâs product.
Platform Breadth: Our team owns more than billing and payments â we also support a partner portal, data ETL pipelines, customer-facing reporting APIs, and the infrastructure that makes data flow reliably across the business. You wonât be responsible for all of it on day one, but youâll have genuine opportunities to grow into the areas that most interest you. Engineers here donât get siloed; they get context.
Engineering Best Practices: Contribute significantly to the engineering culture at Rebuy by establishing, documenting, and promoting best practices. Lead initiatives to introduce and standardize frameworks and tools that increase development efficiency and maintainability.
Security & Compliance: Stay current with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and best practices as they apply to billing and payment systems. Champion security-first engineering across authentication, authorization, data encryption, and compliance considerations in everything you build.
PHP Technical Leadership: Serve as a key technical anchor for PHP across the engineering organization. Rebuyâs codebase has significant PHP depth and relatively few engineers with that expertise. Youâll lead code reviews, share knowledge actively, and help raise the PHP competency of the broader team.
Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on deliverables to ensure code, setup, and configurations meet expected results. Ensure that all features meet high standards of quality and performance before deployment.
Team Collaboration: Engage actively in building a strong team culture. Work closely with the Product Owner, Engineering Manager, and peers across billing, payments, partner tools, and data infrastructure to define requirements, estimate effort, and drive solutions forward. This is a team where your voice matters â you wonât just be handed tickets. Assist the Support team in triaging and resolving high-priority production issues.

Who You Are

Educational background in CS // Engineering or a similar area.
5+ years of hands-on experience building backend applications with PHP and Go, with a proven track record of delivering complex, high-traffic systems.
Experience designing and implementing secure, scalable, and maintainable RESTful APIs in PHP and Go, with a deep understanding of API design patterns, versioning, and performance optimization.
Experience with cloud-based technologies, preferably GCP.
Strong understanding of a performant SaaS environment.
Experience in a Scrum/Agile environment.
Experience with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Bitbucket.
Solid understanding of security fundamentals as they apply to backend and financial systems â including secure coding practices, authentication/authorization patterns, data encryption, and awareness of current vulnerability trends (e.g. OWASP Top 10)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $130,000 - $180,000 USD annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
