Senior Site Reliability Engineer AI Infrastructure

Senior Site Reliability Engineer - AI Infrastructure

Location: Global Remote / San Francisco · Full-Time

About Andromeda

Andromeda Cluster was founded by Nat Friedman and Daniel Gross to give early-stage startups access to the kind of scaled AI infrastructure once reserved only for hyperscalers.

We began with a single managed cluster — but it filled almost instantly. Since then, we’ve been quietly building the systems, network, and orchestration layer that makes the world’s AI infrastructure more accessible.

Today, Andromeda works with leading AI labs, data centers, and cloud providers to deliver compute when and where it’s needed most. Our platform routes training and inference jobs across global supply, unlocking flexibility and efficiency in one of the fastest-growing markets on earth.

Our long-term vision is to build the liquidity layer for global AI compute — a marketplace that moves the infrastructure and workloads powering AGI not dissimilar to the flows of capital in the world’s financial markets.

We are expanding to new frontiers to find the brightest that work in AI infrastructure, research and engineering.

The Role

This is not a generalist SRE role.

You will design, operate, and debug large-scale GPU infrastructure used for distributed training and inference, working directly with customers pushing the limits of modern AI systems.

We’re looking for engineers who have personally run GPU clusters in production, understand the failure modes of distributed training, and can reason about performance from network fabric → kernel → framework.

What You’ll Own

  • GPU Cluster Architecture: Design and evolve multi-provider, multi-region GPU compute clusters optimized for large-scale training. Make topology-aware scheduling, networking, and storage decisions that directly impact training throughput and cost efficiency.

  • Customer Technical Partnership: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers running large-scale training workloads. Onboard, troubleshoot, and optimize, often in real time.

  • Reliability & Performance Engineering: Define SLOs and error budgets that account for the unique failure modes of GPU infrastructure (ECC errors, NVLink degradation, NCCL timeouts). Own capacity planning across heterogeneous GPU fleets optimized for training throughput.

  • Networking & Fabric Health: Ensure the health and performance of high-speed interconnects (InfiniBand, RoCE, NVLink) that underpin distributed training. Diagnose and resolve fabric-level issues that degrade collective operations.

  • Observability: Build deep visibility into GPU utilization, memory pressure, interconnect throughput, training job performance, and hardware health. Go well beyond standard infrastructure metrics.

  • Automation & Tooling: Build production-grade automation for cluster provisioning, GPU health checks, job scheduling, self-healing, and firmware/driver lifecycle management.

  • Incident Leadership: Lead incident response for complex, multi-layer failures spanning hardware, networking, orchestration, and ML frameworks. Drive blameless postmortems and systemic fixes.

What We’re Looking For

  • GPU Systems Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience operating large-scale GPU clusters (NVIDIA A100/H100/B200 or equivalent). You understand GPU memory hierarchies, ECC behavior, thermal throttling, and hardware failure modes from direct experience not documentation.

  • High-Performance Networking: Production experience with InfiniBand, RoCE, or NVLink fabrics in the context of distributed training. You can diagnose why an all-reduce is slow, identify a degraded link in a fat-tree topology, and reason about congestion control at scale.

  • Distributed Training & ML Frameworks: Working knowledge of how large training jobs actually run — NCCL, CUDA, PyTorch distributed, DeepSpeed, Megatron, FSDP, or similar. You don't need to write the models, but you need to understand what's happening at the systems level when a 1,000-GPU training run stalls.

  • Linux & Systems Internals: Expert-level Linux knowledge: kernel tuning, driver management (NVIDIA drivers, CUDA toolkit), cgroup/namespace internals, performance profiling at the syscall and hardware level.

  • Kubernetes & Orchestration: Strong experience running Kubernetes in production with GPU workloads, including device plugins, topology-aware scheduling, multi-cluster federation, and custom operators. Experience with Slurm or other HPC schedulers is equally valued.

  • Automation & Software Engineering: Strong engineering skills in Python, Go, or Bash. You build production-grade tools and services, not just scripts. Infrastructure-as-Code proficiency (Terraform, Helm, Ansible, or equivalent).

  • Observability & Monitoring: Hands-on experience building monitoring and alerting for GPU infrastructure, not just Prometheus/Grafana basics, but GPU-specific telemetry (DCGM, nvidia-smi, fabric manager metrics) integrated into actionable dashboards.

  • Incident Management: Proven track record leading incident response for complex distributed systems where the failure could be in hardware, firmware, networking, drivers, orchestration, or application code and you need to narrow it down fast.

Strong Candidates May Have

  • Distributed Storage: Experience with high-performance parallel file systems (VAST, Weka, Lustre, GPFS) and the checkpoint I/O and data-loading bottlenecks that come with large training runs.

  • Training Optimization: Experience profiling and optimizing distributed training performance: identifying stragglers, tuning collective communication strategies, improving MFU (Model FLOPs Utilization), and reducing idle GPU time across large runs.

  • Cluster Buildout & Hardware: Experience involved in physical cluster design - rack layout, power/cooling constraints, network topology design, and hardware validation/burn-in at scale.

  • Team Leadership: Experience leading or mentoring a team of infrastructure engineers. We're growing and need people who raise the bar for everyone around them.

Why You’ll Love It Here

This is a high-impact, senior builder’s role. You’ll have significant ownership and autonomy to shape how our systems run at a foundational level, working directly with customers and providers while architecting the infrastructure backbone for reliable, scalable AI compute. You’ll influence technical direction and help define what world-class AI infrastructure operations look like.

Andromeda Cluster is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

Serving innovative founders in the SaaS, FinTech, and professional services sectors, they have a proven track record of generating millions in pipeline value. This is a collaborative, high-growth environment suited for professionals who value transparency, original research, and the pursuit of meaningful, high-quality sales outcomes over volume-based metrics.

    VP Revenue
    • Mongoose
    • New York, New York, New York, United States
education medical full time non tech

Mongoose is the leading AI Engagement Platform in higher education. Colleges and universities use us to increase enrollment, retention, and fundraising — without adding staff.

We have the product and the customers. What we don't have yet is a revenue engine to match. That's this role. As VP of Revenue, you own it end to end — new business, client success, account management, and, most importantly, the system that ties them together. Your job is to make it simple and run it with discipline.

    What You'll Do

    • Own all of revenue. The whole revenue org reports to you — one team, one leader. New business, client success, and account management are the front line, with enablement and operations behind them — the training and tools that set them up to win. It all serves one goal: grow ARR — by winning new business and helping our customers succeed. So you're measured on two things: new ARR and gross retention.

    • Build a simple, repeatable selling system. One clear path from first call to close to renewal — the stages, standards, and playbooks the whole team runs the same way. Make it so clear that reps know what good looks like and spend their time selling, not guessing. Done right, it shows up in forecasts you can trust, faster deals, and better conversion at every step.

    • Grow the people who sell it. Our reps are early in their careers and hungry, so growing them isn't a side project — it's the job. You build the system that does it: ramp, enablement, and a steady coaching cadence. And you're in it, not above it — in the deals and the reviews, helping close and coaching the fundamentals in the moment, not from a slide at quarter's end. The result is reps who sell with real confidence and conviction: they know how to win, and they believe they will.

    • Move us up-market. Our next stage of growth is in bigger deals. You know where the real opportunity lives in higher ed, and you focus the team there — raising the ACV we pursue, building around the highest-value accounts, and growing the ones with real upside. It takes sharp market judgment, a head for the numbers, and the discipline to say no to deals that aren't worth the team's time.

    • Run revenue like an AI company. Most revenue orgs still operate the way they did decades ago — we won't. We sell AI for a living, and the whole company is getting far more efficient, accurate, and effective by letting AI do the manual work. That takes more than watching for the next AI tool — it takes imagination: you picture how technology could reinvent the work, then we build it.

    What You'll Bring

    • You've run a full revenue org — new business and retention both — and carried a number yourself, not just managed people who carried theirs.

    • When a number gets missed, you go straight to the funnel math — pipeline, conversion, time-in-stage — not the story about why.

    • You've built a selling system that works — whether you stood it up from scratch or overhauled a broken one inside an established org.

    • You're a real coach. You've taken early-career reps and turned them into closers — hands-on, not from a dashboard.

    • You think in unit economics and read a market fast. You've moved a team toward bigger, better deals, and had the discipline to walk from the rest.

    • You're already using AI to reinvent how you work, and you don't wait for permission to push it further.

    • Higher ed or EdTech experience is a strong plus, not a must. The market has real nuance — if you haven't lived in it, show us how you'll close the gap fast.

How We WorkRevenue doesn't run in isolation. You're a key member of our senior leadership team — leading revenue alongside the CEO, partnering with Product and Marketing on go-to-market, and with Finance and People to run the business. Tight feedback loops, honest calls, shared decisions. We hold each other accountable to the plan — and to the whole outcome, not just our own lane.

    More About Mongoose

1,000+ higher ed institutions already trust Mongoose — built to give their teams exponentially more capacity across the systems they already run.

AI handles the routine, so people can focus on the work that actually moves students forward — more applications completed, more students retained, more donors reached. Same team. Much bigger impact.

    What We Offer

    • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage

    • 401K with company match: 100% of the 1st 3% and 50% of the next 2%

    • Flexible PTO

    • Competitive Leave Policies

    • 13 paid holidays, including a week off between Christmas and New Year’s

The BasicsRemote, anywhere in the US. Some travel — for customers, for big deals, and for time together as a team.

At Mongoose, we believe that diversity drives innovation, and inclusion builds stronger teams. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, and we do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic. Strategy and Operations Lead
    • PatientIQ
    • Chicago, Chicago, Illinois, United States
    design sys admin recruiter marketing
    About PatientIQ

PatientIQ is a fast-growing health tech company on a mission to improve patient outcomes. We partner with healthcare providers, medical device companies, and researchers to collect, analyze, and act on patient-reported outcomes data at scale — powering smarter clinical decisions and accelerating the future of value-based care.

Headquartered in Chicago and backed by top-tier venture capital and major health system investors, PatientIQ is building the largest platform for healthcare providers, industry partners, and researchers to collaborate on what matters most: helping patients get better.

    The opportunity

PatientIQ is hiring a Strategy & Operations Lead to help drive the company's highest-priority strategic initiatives and strengthen the operating foundation required for our next phase of growth.

Working directly with the Chief of Staff and executive leadership team, you'll help build and scale our Strategic Program Office (SPO) - a new function responsible for governing the company's portfolio of strategic initiatives while improving how we plan, communicate, and execute across the business.

This role is ideal for a highly analytical operator who thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to complex problems, and enjoys turning strategy into execution.

    What You'll Do

    • Own PatientIQ's portfolio of strategic initiatives—governing the company's highest-priority work from prioritization through execution, ensuring every initiative has clear ownership, measurable outcomes, and executive visibility
    • Lead complex cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution, partnering across Product, Commercial, Customer Success, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to deliver measurable business results
    • Help build and scale PatientIQ's Strategic Program Office (SPO) by establishing the governance, operating cadence, portfolio management, and accountability mechanisms that enable the company to execute at scale
    • Partner with the Chief of Staff and executive leadership team on strategic planning, executive operating rhythms, organizational priorities, board and leadership communications, and other high-impact initiatives critical to the business
    • Develop executive-ready analyses, recommendations, and communications that translate complex information into clear decisions, align stakeholders, and enable faster, higher-quality execution
    • Define and measure business impact by establishing KPI frameworks, tracking strategic initiatives, surfacing risks early, and ensuring investments deliver measurable operational and commercial outcomes
    • Champion AI-enabled ways of working by standardizing AI-powered workflows, automating manual processes, and embedding AI into how teams plan, communicate, analyze, and execute—creating meaningful leverage across the organization
    • Drive accountability across the organization by clarifying ownership, facilitating decision-making, removing execution roadblocks, and maintaining momentum on the company's most important priorities

    What Success Looks Like

We believe clarity drives performance. Here's what the first 90 days look like in this role:

30 days - Build strong relationships with executive stakeholders and functional leaders. Develop a deep understanding of PatientIQ's business, product, customers, strategic priorities, and operating cadence. Begin identifying opportunities to improve execution, communication, and operational efficiency. Become proficient with the company's AI tools and workflows.

60 days - Independently own one or more executive operating cadences. Lead a cross-functional strategic initiative with minimal oversight. Deliver executive-ready analyses and communications that enable faster decision-making. Begin establishing the SPO framework

90 days - Be recognized as a trusted partner to the Chief of Staff and executive team. Fully support the company's strategic initiative portfolio and executive reporting cadence. Launch the foundational components of the Strategic Program Office. Deliver measurable improvements in execution through AI-enabled workflows and standardized operating processes.

    Requirements

    What you bring

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing concise, executive-ready materials independently
    • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and drive accountability across teams without formal authority
    • Strong business judgment—you understand when to analyze further, when to make a recommendation, and when to push an organization toward a decision
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives while maintaining a clear view of the broader business context
    • Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve, information may be incomplete, and the path forward is not always defined
    • High ownership mindset—you do not wait for perfect direction and are comfortable building structure, defining the work, and driving it to completion
    • Strong aptitude for AI and modern productivity tools, with an interest in using technology to improve analysis, communication, and organizational efficiency

    Merchandising Operations Manager
    • Grove Collaborative
    • Austin, Austin, Texas, United States
    design sys admin education designer
Grove Collaborative is a sustainability-focused consumer products company creating household and personal care essentials that are effective, beautifully designed, and healthier for people and the planet. We are a certified B Corp, plastic-neutral, and on a mission to transform the CPG industry for good.

    Merchandising Operations Manager

Grove's merchandising operation is full of good instincts running on manual work. This role exists to fix that: redesign the core processes, then personally build the automation that makes them stick. This is a rare shot at rebuilding how merchandising actually runs, and at proving AI belongs in the hands of the person closest to the problem, not just the AI team.

We're not hiring someone to write a strategy memo about AI and hand it off. We're hiring someone who will map the workflow, feel where it breaks, and then sit down and build the thing that fixes it.

    More About the Opportunity

    • Merchandising at Grove runs on real expertise and too much manual glue.
    • Buyers chase vendors for the same data, week after week.
    • Marketing launches promotions inventory finds out about too late.
    • Good people spend their time on work a workflow should be doing for them.
    • We have an internal AI team. They coach. They don't build for you.
    • This role is for the person who wants their hands on the keyboard, not the person who scopes it and waits.
    • The honest version: no template here. You're defining the standard as you go, with review at key milestones and real autonomy in between.
    • Some of what you build will work on the first try. Some won't. That's the job.

    What You'll Own

    • Map how merchandising actually works today, not how the org chart says it works.
    • Redesign core operating processes for speed, accuracy, and margin protection: assortment planning, item setup, pricing and markdown, vendor and PO management, allocation, replenishment.
    • Own the calendar connecting marketing activations to inventory, so launches are stock-backed, not a surprise to the warehouse.
    • Translate activation plans into buy, allocation, and replenishment signals; flag stock risk before launch, not after.
    • Coordinate vendor commitments tied to activations: fill rates, lead times, launch quantities.
    • Build self-service tools and proactive alerts that scale the buyer-vendor relationship, including visibility into vendor performance.
    • Build the automation yourself, using Claude and comparable AI tools, no/low-code platforms, and lightweight automation, from concept through rollout.
    • Run pilots end to end: scope, build, test for accuracy, validate fit, scale. Keep humans in the loop on margin- and inventory-critical decisions.
    • Maintain a registry of approved tools and active automations, so what exists and what it's for is never a mystery.
    • Own change management for every rollout: training, AI literacy for non-technical audiences, office hours, a bench of power users.
    • Build reporting on process and automation performance, and use it to prioritize what gets built next.

    About You

    • Real fluency in retail merchandising operations, not an adjacent function you've watched from a distance.
    • You've mapped a broken process and redesigned it, not just diagnosed it.
    • Basic technical acumen and a genuine willingness to build, no engineering background required.
    • Comfortable working with a specialist team as a coaching resource, not a build team, and taking their guidance without handing off your job.
    • You've run a pilot from scoping through adoption, and you know the gap between a demo and something people actually use.
    • You care about the boring, durable stuff: documentation, SOPs, registries, training, the things that outlast the person who built them.
    • You think in workflows and root causes, not tickets.
    • You know the difference between a problem worth automating and one worth leaving alone.

    Even Better if You Have

    • Built something with Claude or a comparable AI tool that a non-technical team now relies on.
    • Experience connecting marketing or demand planning to inventory and allocation.
    • Designed a self-service tool that measurably cut manual buyer-vendor back-and-forth.
    • A retail, CPG, or commerce background with real fluency in vendor and marketplace dynamics.

    WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

    • This full-time, exempt position is remote for candidates based in the following states: California, Maine, Pennsylvania, Nevada, North Carolina, Texas, Colorado, Washington, Illinois, New York, Missouri, and Massachusetts.
    • Competitive benefits - medical, vision, dental
    • Equity - shared success is core to our mission
    • Flexible Paid Time Off - we care most about results
    • Free VIP membership and 50% employee discount
    • Working for a company that believes that a small group of people can change the world for the better by creating products and funding initiatives that help the planet!

    COMPENSATION

The salary range for this role is $135,000-165,000. Our compensation bands are determined based on market-specific cost of living data, meaning that the top of our salary range is reserved for the most experienced candidates in the highest cost of living areas across the country. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible for an annual incentive target and equity.
