About Pivotal Health
Pivotal Health is the leading technology platform that helps healthcare providers get paid fairly in an increasingly complex reimbursement landscape.
Today, many providers face persistent underpayment from health insurance companies, despite delivering high-quality care. While processes like IDR (Independent Dispute Resolution) were designed to promote fairness, theyâre often administrative-heavy, time-consuming, and difficult to navigate without the right tools.
Pivotal Health combines software, data, and service into a seamlessly integrated, AI-driven platform that simplifies these complex reimbursement workflows. We help providers efficiently dispute underpaid claims, reduce administrative burden, and recover the reimbursement theyâre entitled to; without adding more work to already stretched teams.
Our full-service IDR solution is just the starting point. Weâre building solutions that enable providers to operate with clarity, control, and confidence across the reimbursement journey.
About the Role
We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join Pivotal's Case Execution team. This team owns critical parts of the case execution workflow, including eligibility, batching, submissions, ops workflows, and claim orchestration. These systems sit at the operational core of how Pivotal delivers outcomes for providers.
This is a strong fit for an engineer who enjoys solving complex, workflow-driven backend problems and working through data-heavy decision logic. The most technically demanding areas for this team are eligibility and batching, and the right person is energized by that kind of work rather than looking to avoid it.
What You'll Do
Build and improve core case execution systems: Own backend development across eligibility, batching, submissions, ops workflows, and claim orchestration. These are the systems that determine how cases move through Pivotal's platform and reach resolution.
Tackle complex, data-driven backend problems: Work through the decision logic and data-heavy workflows that make eligibility and batching hard, understanding not just how individual systems work, but how they interact across the broader platform.
Contribute to workflow orchestration: Build and improve the systems that coordinate how cases are staged, routed, and executed end to end, with a clear eye toward correctness and reliability.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with the Integrations team, Case Strategy team, and other engineering and product partners to ensure systems are well-connected and aligned with how the broader platform operates.
Contribute to front-end and admin workflows where needed: The role is primarily backend-focused, but you'll contribute to internal-facing UI and ops tooling where the product requires it.
Who You Are
5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong backend focus
Strong engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience building data-heavy, workflow-oriented systems
Experience working on complex, data-driven decision logic or orchestration problems: you're comfortable with systems where correctness and sequencing both matter
Comfortable operating in a collaborative, fast-moving startup environment where ownership and requirements evolve
Python experience; able to work effectively in a Python-based backend environment
Self-directed and proactive: you identify problems and drive them to resolution without heavy oversight
Strong communicator who collaborates well across engineering, product, and adjacent teams
Extra Credit If You Have
Experience with healthcare-specific data or HealthTech systems
Exposure to data-heavy architectures or problems adjacent to data engineering without being a pure data engineer
Familiarity with tools like Snowflake, dbt, or Databricks
Some front-end experience to support admin workflow contributions
Why Youâll Love Working Here
Weâre a collaborative, low-ego team on a mission to make healthcare reimbursement fairer for providers. While we primarily hire around our core hubsâLos Angeles and New Yorkâwe remain open to exceptional talent outside those regions. Remote and hybrid flexibility varies by role and team, and is outlined in each job description.
If youâre excited by solving complex problems and making a real-world impact, weâd love to hear from you.
Benefits Include:
Competitive compensation, including equity
Full health, dental, and vision coverage
Retirement savings plan through 401(k)
Flexible time off
Opportunities for company-wide connection and events
Ready to Make an Impact?
Weâre building something meaningful; and we want you on the team.
Bring your ideas, curiosity, and drive, and letâs transform healthcare reimbursement together.

Job Summary
This position is on the team building StrongDM, now part of Delineaâthe universal access management platform that secures and audits access to databases, servers, Kubernetes clusters, and web applications. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will apply deep expertise across distributed systems, security, and cloud architecture to help shape the technical direction of StrongDMâs proxy and control-plane platform. You will take on the platformâs most complex and ambiguous engineering challenges, exercise independent judgment on architecture and design decisions that span multiple teams, and serve as a recognized subject matter expert on secure, high-scale distributed systems written in Go. You will report to the teamâs engineering manager.
What Youâll Do:
Lead the architecture and technical direction of highly concurrent, distributed backend systems in Go (Golang), setting engineering standards that extend across multiple teams within StrongDM and Delinea.
Drive design decisions for the proxy data plane (gateways and relays) and control-plane services, evaluating tradeoffs on the platformâs most complex and ambiguous technical problems.
Partner with architects, product managers, and DevOps/SRE leadership to shape multi-quarter system roadmaps, translating broader business priorities into concrete technical strategy.
Serve as a subject matter expert on secure network protocols and cryptographic systems (TLS/mTLS, credential brokering, key management), guiding their application across the platform.
Lead code and design reviews across teams, holding a high bar for performance, security, and maintainability, and coach engineers on applying that bar independently.
Investigate and resolve the most challenging technical issues in distributed, multi-cloud production environments, often requiring evaluation of ambiguous or intangible tradeoffs.
Author and maintain architectural and technical strategy documentation that informs decisions beyond your immediate team.
Mentor engineers across the team and may direct the work of others, building the cross-team relationships that help align engineering execution with company objectives.
What Youâll Need:
Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in computer science, software engineering, or related technical discipline.
8+ years of professional experience working as a software engineer, with deep expertise in Go (Golang), distributed systems, and backend/network service development at scale.
Demonstrated experience architecting highly concurrent, distributed systems and exercising independent judgment on methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria, including Goâs standard networking and cryptography libraries.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, network protocols, and API design (gRPC/Protobuf and/or RESTful APIs), with the ability to reason about tradeoffs across an entire system.
Experience with AWS (or another major cloud provider) and cloud-native deployment models at production scale.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to convey advanced technical concepts and persuade diverse stakeholders and audiences.
Proven ability to build formal working relationships and coordinate across multiple teams and functions.
Conceptual thinking skills sufficient to understand advanced technical issues and their broader implications for the business.
Demonstrated track record mentoring engineers and being recognized as a subject matter expert others turn to for guidance.
Weâd Love to See:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) beyond a single provider.
Experience establishing or influencing engineering-wide standards for Terraform automation and CI/CD pipelines.
Deep expertise with secure protocols, mTLS and PKI, secrets management (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault), and credential brokering.
Familiarity with proxying database, SSH/RDP, Kubernetes, and HTTP traffic, and with building CLI or desktop client tooling.
Experience shaping Zero Trust architecture strategy, just-in-time access models, and policy-as-code (e.g., Cedar) at an organizational level.
For this Job, Delinea is not considering candidates that need any type of US work authorization now or in the future. This includes, but is not limited to: F1-OPT, F1-CPT, H-1B, TN, L-1, J1, etc.

You're the one people trust with the words, whether you're writing them or fixing them. You noticed that you loved it, and that you were unusually good at it. You turn rough, complex ideas into words people understand.
Now you get the opportunity to work with some of the most respected designers alive, and help share their knowledge with hundreds of thousands of learners around the world.
A great hook pulls your readers in, makes them see themselves in the topic, and shows them why it matters in their lives. That's your craft. Abstract ideas don't stay abstract for long, because you find the example that makes an idea concrete. You're structured and systematic, yet creative, and you'll rewrite a sentence six times until it says exactly what you mean.
You see the fear around AI, and you understand where it comes from. But you also see the opportunities, and you want to show people how to work with AI in a way that benefits their lives, their users, and the world.
If you're also curious about how great design and the responsible use of AI improve people's lives, read on. As one of our Course Writers and Editors, you'll shape how our courses and Master Classes read and flow.
The industry leaders whose expertise you'll be turning into courses and Master Classes include Don Norman and Vitaly Friedman, as well as Design Leads at Netflix, LinkedIn, Meta, and Adobe.
Youâll be involved in all stages of course and Master Class creation, including key decisions, so there are incredible opportunities for you to take initiative, make meaningful contributions, and grow. Forget political struggles or long, pointless debates. Youâll be in a team with minimal distance between word and action, where decisions are made ultra-fast.
Join the Global Leader in Online Design and AI Education
IxDF is the world's largest online design and AI education platform, with over 1,150,000 enrollments since 2002. We hold the trust of industry giants like Adobe, NASA, and IBM, who rely on our courses to train their teams. Prestigious universities, including MIT and the University of Cambridge, integrate our material into their curricula. Help us take online education to new heights and make a meaningful impact on humankind.
At IxDF, weâre not just a company but a movement dedicated to making high-quality design and AI education accessible to everyone, everywhere.
We've pioneered online design education since 2002. We have over 1,150,000 enrollments and 1,583 company members, with more than 40 courses, 160 Master Classes, and thousands of open-source design resources, created by our team in collaboration with 240 industry leaders.
With learners from over 100 countries, your work will empower people worldwide.
We're Hiring Three People for Our Editorial Team
We're growing, and three roles are open at the same time to build the next generation of our core educational product. Here's what each role leads on:
Our Course Writers and Editors: lead how our courses and articles read. You make each title engaging, ensure each sentence flows, and edit the written course experience from the userâs perspective. This is the role described here.
Our Education Designers, UX, UI, and AI:Â lead how design and AI are taught. You plan, structure, and create the core content, and you decide what a course participant should be able to do by the end and how they get there.
Our Course Directors, UX, UI, and AI:Â lead what we teach and who teaches our courses and Master Classes. You reach out to industry leaders and create the invitation they say yes to. You bring your judgment to a planned course outline: what's missing, what doesn't belong, and whether the structure is solid. You plan and shoot courses with our Education Designers.
Weâre a flexible team, and youâll be able to do what you excel in. Everyone on our team creates courses, and everyone works across these roles. If you're torn between two roles, apply for the one you'd be best at, and tell us in your application which other one you considered and why.
You, the Course Writer and Editor, own how our courses and Master Classes read: the scripts, hooks, headings, on-screen text in videos, quiz wording, and editorial voice across everything we publish. Our Education Designers hand you the structure and the exercises, and they'll often hand you draft headings and hooks along with them. The final wording is yours. You'll work closely with our Co-Founder, your Team Lead, the Education Designers, and the Course Directors, and you'll have a real say in what we make. You'll also work closely with the video team and our growth team.
Your Role at IxDF
Be a core part of our Editorial Team. You'll collaborate with IxDF editors, video editors, and UX and UI designers as well as external industry leaders to create educational content for people worldwide. You'll help them succeed in the age of AI with skills in timeless, human-centered design and AI.
Make an impact as you decide how every course sounds. The title people want to click, the first paragraph that hooks them, the on-screen words that make our learners remember and apply what our experts teach. Our Education Designers create the structure and draft the headings, hooks, and quizzes. You finalize the scripts, hooks, headings, quiz wording, and editorial voice across everything we publish, and you give proactive feedback on the structure.
You don't need a design background. Most of our writers and editors start without one, and that can be an advantage because you're coming to design the way many of our learners do. In your first year you'll learn it from the inside, working through it sentence by sentence with the people who teach it, until you know what a course participant needs.
Write for a diverse, global audience. Some of our courses and Master Classes serve experienced designers who want to grow into more senior work. Others serve people moving into design from other fields, and many are not reading in their first language. Often, you'll write for all of them at the same time. Getting that balance right without watering anything down is a rewarding editorial challenge.
Be the voice of IxDF. Our reputation lives in every sentence we publish, and many of those sentences will be yours. Represent a global movement dedicated to design education, and take pride in it. It's a big responsibility, and a rewarding one.
Set and raise the standard for our assessments, so a correct answer proves understanding, not just recognition, and a good question teaches as well as tests. Our Education Designers decide what a question has to test. You write the wording that does both.
Balance the big picture with the smaller details. Expect to focus on one large course creation project per month, alongside small, continuous improvements to what's already published. You'll also write and edit articles, course descriptions, and supporting material, and help our Growth team and our two founders get the voice right in campaigns and social copy.
Turn expert material into lessons. Once you've built an understanding of design, you'll take a one-hour Master Class transcript and the learning goals for what the lesson must teach, then turn the strongest sections into a finished lesson. We produce 3 Master Classes per month, so new expert material arrives continuously.
Our courses combine written and video lessons. You'll work closely with the video team, giving constructive feedback on on-screen text, b-roll, graphics, and animation, and telling them which takeaways need a visual, so each video is more engaging to learn from.
Find room for improvement by looking at completion rates, learner feedback, and the portfolios learners produce, then go back and fix what isn't excellent yet. Small, incremental edits are why our material surpasses even the very best in industry and academia. We're always learning, always improving, always raising the bar in everything we do.
Weâre committed toâ¯excellence, and we seek a like-minded enthusiast to join us. This role isâ¯not for the average. Ahead of you is aâ¯highly rewarding and enriching journey.
Maintain and improve our crystal-clear documentation so our knowledge resources stay up-to-date, easy to find, and provide instant value to our internal teams. Clarity is key. Any line of documentation should be self-explanatory.
You won't do this alone. You'll work with our Education Designers, Course Directors, your Team Lead, and our Co-Founder to pressure-test the material: you'll add what's missing, delete what's redundant, and suggest how to improve the structure. You'll be working with people who have anything from 4 to 40 years of design experience, ready to share their knowledge. We'll also help you upskill so you can grow a designer's eye alongside your editor's ear. You'll work in a diverse, highly organized, result-driven environment where you'll develop personally and professionally.
We're proud to have assembled a remarkable team of unicorns who uplift, motivate, and push each other to excel daily. There's a seat open for someone who shares our passion for excellence. Could that be you?
Do You Share IxDF's Vision?
People don't just buy our courses; they invest in a better version of themselves and a career they truly love. That's why every course we create and every sentence we write must do more than just inform. It must reflect the high-quality research and hands-on skills we teach.
Show the dream outcome: Help people imagine a future of creative, meaningful work, fulfillment, and impact through a career in design and AI.
Strengthen belief in success: Build confidence through real stories, practical case studies, and hands-on templates.
Overcome barriers: Write in a way that's crystal clear, human, and motivating. Connect and lead the way.
You'll educate, inspire, energize, and support. Whether you write a course article or give editorial feedback on a video, you'll help designers thrive in the age of AI.
About You
You have at least 4 years of professional writing or editing experience.
What matters far more than the number is the quality of the work you can show us: a course, an article series, a set of scripts, documentation, a newsletter. Weâre excited to hear what it was, why you wrote it the way you did, and how long it took you to create.
You're a master communicator with a sharp eye for detail and strong skills in language, tone, and flow.
You can take a complex idea and write it so a beginner gets it on the first read.
You know how to hook someone with a title and a first line, and you know the difference between a hook that's earned and a hook that's cheap.
You collaborate with AI in everything you do. You use AI to write, research, and create faster, and you know how to take human leadership, so the outcome is 100% yours and better than you could have created without AI.
Youâre eager to help people build UX and UI skills because you know theyâre more relevant than ever in the age of AI.
You can write for a career changer and for an experienced designer without losing either one.
You have an exceptional talent for creating structure, and you take pride in organizing processes and tasks in a way that's efficient and clear.
You're genuinely curious about UX and UI design, and you're motivated to learn how great design shapes experiences and solves problems.
You're genuinely curious about how AI is changing design work and design education, and you look for new ways to use it in your own work.
You're kind, and you have the social intelligence and empathy to engage well with very different kinds of people.
You're fluent in written and spoken English, your grammar is exact, and you understand the power of tone, brevity, and microcopy.
You take full ownership of your work and see it through. You move comfortably across ad hoc projects of varying complexity, and you stay consistent when the work turns repetitive.
Youâre enthusiastic about learning by doing and are committed to putting in the effort to continuously improve your skills.
You spot problems before anyone else notices them, and when something goes off track you come back with a solution rather than a report.
You value teamwork, prioritize collaboration, and focus on collective goals and harmony in the workplace.
You work well with great responsibility and freedom inside a well-documented, structured system. Accuracy and attention to detail are key on an online learning platform, where every tag must be correct and every piece of text formatted to our upload system. It's in your nature to meticulously double-check that everything is in order.
You're self-motivated, and you love creative freedom, independent judgment, and the responsibility that comes with both.
Youâre driven by the desire to make a positive impact in the world and to improve the lives of others.
You're located in a time zone between UTC+0 (London) and UTC+4 (Dubai), which covers Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Bonus Points
None of these are required, but each of them would make us even happier.
You've taught in classrooms or workshops, or you've created educational material.
You have your own blog or social media page where you create and share original content.
Youâve collaborated with video production teams.
You've written quiz or assessment questions.
You've worked with an LMS or an online learning platform.
You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in communications, journalism, literature, or a similar field.
What We Can Offer
A highly valued role:Â You'll shape our core product, our courses and Master Classes.
Reach and impact that are difficult to find anywhere else in this field. Your words will be read year after year, by hundreds of thousands of people who build better careers and design a better world for all of us. An education you can't buy: free access to every IxDF course and Master Class, and a job that requires you to study the work of the best designers alive in order to edit it. Most people pay for this. You'll be paid for it.
Access:Â the designers whose books you'd normally buy are the people whose words you'll be shaping, and in some cases the people you'll be in a studio with.
Studio shoots:Â once you know our courses well, usually after your first year, you'll be a real asset on a studio production, and you'll be welcome to join us when we meet our experts in professional studios around the world. Some of us love that part and go every time; others keep travel to a minimum. Both work for us. On average we shoot 4-6 new courses per year.
Autonomy:Â Nobody will ever hand you a template and tell you to fill it in. You decide how our courses read.
A global, purpose-driven team: Work remotely alongside passionate professionals from all over the world, united by a common mission to create the best possible design and AI education in the world and make it accessible for everyone.
Our co-founder and co-CEO, Rikke, will work closely with you. She and our other co-founder, Mads, built IxDF from nothing, with no investment capital, so we would stay free to make world-class design education affordable to everyone. She was the sole editor and video editor for many of our early years, so she's shaped our course planning, expert interviews, video shoots, and content editing from the inside. She's still hands-on in everything we do, and she still films educational videos herself, in places like the US, the North Pole, and Nepal.
A full-time position within a fully remote organization. Video-based collaboration with your colleagues from elsewhere on the planet, and we get together in person each year, on a team trip or a studio production.
Bi-weekly knowledge-sharing sessions and 4 meeting-free days weekly for focused work.
A work culture with no fluffy titles, political agendas, or corporate drama. Your colleagues value your warm character, your strong work ethic, and the results you deliver. If you embody old-school virtues of always striving to deliver results, learn and become better every day, you'll thrive at IxDF.
A daily mission to help impact, empower, and enrich the lives of millions of people by creating affordable high-end design education for everyone across the planet. It'll be yours too.
A company where the distance between idea and execution is minimal. We're a highly agile organization with zero bureaucracy or corporate politics â and with exceptional order and efficiency.
A company culture where passion meets high performance and excellence. To help us improve the world, and yourself in the process, you'll need grit, strong work ethic, long-term thinking, and self-discipline.
We thrive because we have a hands-on attitude and a bias towards action as opposed to fluff-filled, unrealistic strategies. You'll need crisp execution skills yourself and the ability to impress your colleagues with concrete results, just like they'll impress you.
If you want even more opportunities to show the world what you can do, youâre in luck! When you're willing to do the hard work of learning and growing, then youâll find virtually limitless opportunities with us.
We built online design education before people believed in it. AI is now changing what designers do, and they carry a bigger responsibility than ever. You'll be at the forefront of teaching designers to work with AI and to design responsibly for it. You'll help set a direction that shapes both the designers we teach and the people who use what they build. Together, we'll design a better world.Â

You're a designer who has facilitated workshops or built online courses, and you noticed that you loved it and that you were unusually good at it.
You know how to make complex skills easy to learn, and how to guide people in applying their new skills. As one of our Education Designers, you'll structure and create the courses and Master Classes you lead.
You've taught design or AI to hundreds of people. Now you get the opportunity to teach it to hundreds of thousands of learners around the world.
You see the fear around AI, and you understand where it comes from. But you also see the opportunities, and you want to show people how to work with AI in a way that benefits their lives, their users, and the world.
The industry leaders whose expertise you'll be turning into courses and Master Classes include Don Norman and Vitaly Friedman, as well as Design Leads at Netflix, LinkedIn, Meta, and Adobe. Don Norman also chairs our executive board.
Youâll be involved in all stages of course and Master Class creation, including key decisions, so there are incredible opportunities for you to take initiative, make meaningful contributions, and grow. Forget political struggles or long, pointless debates. Youâll be in a team with minimal distance between idea and action, where decisions are made ultra-fast.
Our Education Designers, UX, UI, and AI: lead how design and AI are taught. You plan, structure, and create the core content, and you decide what a course participant should be able to do by the end and how they get there. This is the role described here.
Our Course Directors, UX, UI, and AI: lead what we teach and who teaches our courses and Master Classes. You reach out to industry leaders and create the invitation they say yes to. You bring your judgment to a planned course outline: what's missing, what doesn't belong, and whether the structure is solid. You plan and shoot courses with our Education Designers.
Our Course Writers and Editors:Â lead how our courses and articles read. You make each title engaging, ensure each sentence flows, and edit the written course experience from the userâs perspective.
Weâre a flexible team, and youâll be able to do what you excel in. Everyone on our team creates courses, and everyone works across these roles. If you're torn between two roles, apply for the one you'd be best at, and tell us in your application which other one you considered and why.
You, the Education Designer, establish what a course participant should be able to do by the end of a course. You create the sequences, exercises, templates, and assessments. You'll work closely with our Co-Founder, your Team Lead, and the Course Directors, who lead on what we teach and who teaches it, and you'll have a real say in both. We all reach out to and collaborate with industry leaders in these processes. Once your course is ready, our Course Writers and Editors take it the last mile: the scripts, hooks, headings, on-screen text in videos, quiz wording, and editorial voice. You'll also work closely with the video team and our growth team.
Your Role at IxDF
Be a core part of our Editorial Team. You'll collaborate with IxDF editors, video editors, and UX and UI designers as well as external industry leaders to create courses and Master Classes for people worldwide. You'll help them succeed in the age of AI with new skills in AI and in timeless human-centered design.
Design for a diverse, global audience. Some of our courses and Master Classes serve working designers who want to grow into more senior work. Others serve people moving into design from other fields. Often, you'll teach both in the same lesson. Getting both right without watering either down is a rewarding design challenge.
Make an impact as you decide how the courses you lead come together. You establish what a course participant should be able to do by the end of a course, then you plan, structure, and create the core content that gets them there. What comes first, what builds on what, and how people level up step by step with ease and joy from confused to competent. You'll work across UX design, human-computer interaction, design thinking, UI design, psychology, and AI.
Design the exercises, portfolio activities, design templates, and assessments that turn passive watching into active designing. You write the exercises that make a course participant apply an idea to their own portfolio project, the templates that scaffold that work, and the assessments that reveal whether they understood and can apply it, or whether they just watched. You write the headings and hooks your structure calls for, and our Course Writers and Editors own the final wording. Every course should leave a participant with a portfolio case study they can show a hiring manager.
Set and raise the standard for our assessments, so a correct answer proves understanding, not just recognition, and a good question teaches as well as tests.
Make expert knowledge understandable. You take raw expert video material, course and Master Class transcripts and footage featuring global industry leaders, and turn it into educational material that teaches timeless human-centered design and AI.
You help produce Master Classes. We produce 3 per month. Over email, you reach out to designers whose work you admire, invite them to create one with us, plan the content, and produce the live session. Timelines vary enormously: with Don Norman or Vitaly Friedman it can be two weeks from first email to publication, because we work with them often. With a new expert, it can be half a year. Once the session is recorded, you get the footage and the transcript, and you decide with the Course Directors and Team Lead which existing course benefits from which snippets, and where they go.
You plan the course content in collaboration with the global industry leaders in design and then fly out to meet them in professional studios across the world. You'll shoot the course content there with some of your colleagues. Expect this a few times a year at minimum. Some of us love that part and join every studio production; others keep it to those few trips. Both work for us. On average we shoot 4-6 new courses per year.
Our courses combine written and video lessons. You'll work closely with the video team, giving constructive feedback on on-screen text, b-roll, graphics, and animation, and telling them which takeaways need a visual, so each video is more engaging to learn from and accurate from a design perspective. You'll also work closely with our growth team.
Balance the big picture with the smaller details. Expect to focus on one large course creation project per quarter, alongside small, continuous improvements to what's already published.
Find room for improvement by looking at completion rates, learner feedback, and the portfolios course participants produce, then go back and fix what isn't excellent yet. Use the power of incremental, modular design as you help push the quality of our educational materials to new heights, surpassing even the very best in industry and academia. We're always learning, always improving, always raising the bar in everything we do and ship.
Maintain and improve our crystal-clear documentation so our knowledge resources stay up-to-date, easy to find, and provide instant value to our internal teams. Clarity is key. Any line of documentation should be self-explanatory.
You won't do this alone. You'll work with our Course Directors, your Team Lead, and our Co-Founder to pressure-test the structure: what's missing, what doesn't belong, and whether it holds together. That kind of judgment takes twenty years to build, and this type of collaboration is one of the fastest ways to grow your own design skills. You'll work in a diverse, highly organized, result-driven environment where you'll grow personally and professionally.
Weâre committed toâ¯excellence, and we seek a like-minded enthusiast to join us. This role isâ¯not for the average. Ahead of you is aâ¯highly rewarding and enriching journey.
We're proud to have assembled a remarkable team of unicorns who uplift, motivate, and push each other to excel daily. There's a seat open for someone who shares our passion for excellence. Could that be you?
About You
You have at least 5 years of hands-on design experience.
You've facilitated workshops repeatedly, run a beginner course, mentored designers, or built curricula for online courses.
You can show us something you built: a course, a workshop series, live Master Classes, an AI teaching app, or a mentoring program. Weâre excited to hear what it was, why you built it the way you did, and how long it took you to create.
You can take a broad, complex design practice and turn it into a step-by-step learning sequence thatâll make a beginner feel and act confident.
You can teach the same idea in different formats: a 60-minute workshop, a written lesson, a 90-second video. You know what a medium does well and what it can't carry, and you know what to cut when the format gets shorter.
You're a practical idealist. You know how to create great results through incremental quick wins and MVPs, and you know when to go all in and make something perfect.
You collaborate with AI in everything you do. You use AI to research, structure, write, and create faster, and you know how to take human leadership, so the outcome is 100% yours and better than you could have created without AI.
You know the difference between timeless human-centered design skills and skills in tools that change. Youâre passionate about the first, because theyâre the most interesting to you and you know that AI will take over much of the tool-based design work soon. Youâre eager to help people build UX and UI skills because you know theyâre more relevant than ever in the age of AI.
You can teach a career changer the powerful skills of great design, and you can guide an experienced designer in upskilling to a more senior role.
You're genuinely curious about how AI is changing design work and design education.
You're kind, and you have the social intelligence and empathy to engage well with very different kinds of people.
You're fluent in written and spoken English and you can explain complex ideas clearly.
Youâre enthusiastic about learning by doing and are committed to putting in the effort to continuously improve your skills.
You spot problems before anyone else notices them, and when something goes off track you come back with a solution rather than a report.
You value teamwork, prioritize collaboration, and focus on collective goals. You give constructive feedback that others can act on, and you take it the same way. When someone shows you how your idea could be better, you're interested rather than defensive.
You're self-motivated, and you love creative freedom, independent judgment, and the responsibility that comes with both.
Youâre driven by the desire to make a positive impact in the world and to improve the lives of others.
Most of the work happens from your home office, but you're willing to travel a few times a year to shoot courses. You're located in a time zone between UTC-6 (Austin, Chicago) and UTC+8 (Singapore, Perth), which includes all of Europe.
Bonus Points
None of these are required, but each of them would make us even happier.
You've published educational material under your own name or spoken at design conferences.
You've worked with an LMS or an online learning platform.
You've built AI-supported learning: tutors, adaptive paths, automated feedback. Or youâve used AI to build products.
You hold a bachelor's or master's in UX, UI, AI, or a similar field.
You have your own blog or social media page where you create and share original content.
You have collaborated with video production teams.
What We Can Offer
A highly valued role:Â You'll shape our core product, our courses and Master Classes.
Reach and impact that are difficult to find anywhere else in this field. A workshop facilitator might teach one hundred designers a year. Your design decisions will reach hundreds of thousands. They'll build better careers and design a better world for all of us.
Access:Â The experts you'd normally cite in a workshop are the people whose material you'll be shaping, whose Master Classes you'll produce, and in some cases the people you'll be in a studio with. Our name opens doors. An email from IxDF gets read, so the reach you have now is the floor, not the ceiling.
Autonomy:Â Nobody will ever hand you a template and tell you to fill it in. You decide how our courses teach.
A global, purpose-driven team: Work remotely alongside passionate professionals from all over the world, united by a common mission to create the best possible design and AI education in the world, and make it accessible for everyone.
Video-based collaboration with your colleagues from elsewhere on the planet, and we get together in person each year, on a team trip or for a studio production.
Colleagues with four to forty years of experience, and a culture where we follow the best idea, not the longest résumé.
Together, we'll design a better world.

You've been designing long enough to have watched tools become essential and then disappear. You know which design skills are timeless and which ones expire. The human-centered design skills are where your heart is, and you know that AI will take over much of the tool-based design work soon.
You see the fear around AI, and you understand where it comes from. But you also see the opportunities, and you want to show people how to work with AI in a way that benefits their lives, their users, and the world.
You can name the ten leading designers who should be teaching the worldâs best courses and Master Classes right now. You know what each of them does better than anyone else, and where their gaps are.
Now you get the opportunity to decide what hundreds of thousands of designers learn next.
The industry leaders whose expertise you'll be turning into courses and Master Classes include Don Norman and Vitaly Friedman, as well as Design Leads at Netflix, LinkedIn, Meta, and Adobe. Don Norman also chairs our executive board.
You'll be involved in the entire process of creating our courses and Master Classes, and you'll lead many of the decisions, so there are incredible opportunities for you to take initiative, make meaningful contributions, and grow. Forget political struggles or long, pointless debates. Youâll be in a team with minimal distance between idea and action, where decisions are made ultra-fast.

We're Hiring Three People for Our Editorial Team
We're growing, and three roles are open at the same time to build the next generation of our core educational product. Here's what each role leads on:
Our Course Directors, UX, UI, and AI: lead what we teach and who teaches our courses and Master Classes. You reach out to industry leaders and create the invitation they say yes to. You bring your judgment to a planned course outline: what's missing, what doesn't belong, and whether the structure is solid. You plan and shoot courses with our Education Designers. This is the role described here.
Our Education Designers, UX, UI, and AI: lead how design and AI are taught. You plan, structure, and create the core content, and you decide what a course participant should be able to do by the end and how they get there.
Our Course Writers and Editors: lead how our courses and articles read. You make each title engaging, ensure each sentence flows, and edit the written course experience from the userâs perspective.
We're a flexible team, and you'll be able to do what you excel in. Everyone on our team creates courses, and everyone works across these roles. If you're torn between two roles, apply for the one you'd be best at, and tell us in your application which other one you considered and why.
You, the Course Director, decide what belongs in our curriculum and who should teach it. You reach out to the worldâs leading experts, plan the courses with them, and shoot courses with them. When an Education Designer brings you a course outline, you're the one who says what's missing, what doesn't belong, and how to optimize the learning outcome so designers can succeed today. You'll work closely with our Co-Founder, your Team Lead, our other Course Directors, and the Education Designers, and you'll plan and create courses alongside them. Our Course Writers and Editors take the finished material the last mile: the scripts, hooks, headings, on-screen text in videos, quiz wording, and editorial voice.
You'll research what already exists in a topic area, so that what we build is genuinely unique. You'll look at where design and AI are heading, what designers need that nobody has taught well yet, and what we should retire because the field has already moved on.
Find the people who should teach it. You decide a topic is worth a course, you work out who should teach it and why, you write the email, and you get the yes. Then you plan the content with the industry leader and agree what the course must leave a learner able to do.
Decide what each expert should teach. The best designers know a great deal, and a course that tries to capture all of it becomes an information dump. You develop a point of view on what a designer genuinely needs from them, and you hold the course to it.
You'll decide which skills our courses teach, both to people entering design and to experienced designers leveling up. Our goal is to help designers thrive in the age of AI and work responsibly, so their users can thrive too.
Ensure our course participants finish each course with a solid portfolio project they can show a hiring manager.
Help us decide what AI should do for our course participants. Personalized learning paths, constructive AI feedback on portfolio work, practice environments where people run real design tasks and get feedback. You'll also help us improve the user flows on our own platform, so that learning at IxDF is as well designed as what we teach. You'll work on this with our founders, designers, and dev team.
Make an impact as you pressure-test the courses our Education Designers plan. An Education Designer sends you a course outline, and you read it against everything you know about the field and about how people learn design, then give constructive feedback on what's missing, what doesn't belong, and where the structure can be improved. You know the limits of your own expertise, and you research your way past them before you weigh in. You'll also plan, structure, and create courses yourself, alongside them.
You're one of the people whose judgment the rest of the team leans on. You show our Education Designers what ten or twenty years in the field taught you to look for. In return, our Co-Founder, your Team Lead, and our other Course Directors give constructive feedback on the courses you lead. You'll work in a diverse, highly organized, result-driven environment where you'll grow personally and professionally.
Act as guardian of our quality bar. When a course goes out under our name, it has to be better than anything else available on the topic. On the courses and Master Classes you lead or review, you're the one who spots what's not good enough yet and works with the team to fix it.
Bring your subject matter expertise to our writers, community managers, and social media team, so our design thinking stays consistent across everything we publish.
Once the session is recorded, you get the footage and the transcript, and you decide with the Education Designers and Team Lead which existing course benefits from which snippets, and where they go.
Focus on what matters as you take raw expert video material, course and Master Class transcripts and footage featuring global industry leaders, and turn it into educational material that teaches new skills in AI and in timeless human-centered design. You'll work across UX design, human-computer interaction, design thinking, UI design, psychology, and AI.
Design for a diverse, global audience. Some of our courses and Master Classes serve working designers who want to grow into more senior work. Others serve people moving into design from other fields. Often, a course will serve both in the same lesson. Getting both right without watering either down is a rewarding design challenge.
Give the video team constructive feedback on course and Master Class videos, from on-screen text and b-roll to graphics and animation, so each video is engaging to learn from and accurate from a design perspective.
Fly out and meet the global industry leaders in design in professional studios across the world. You'll shoot the course content there with some of your colleagues. Expect this a few times a year at minimum. Some of us love that part and join every studio production; others keep it to those few trips. Both work for us. On average we shoot 4-6 new courses per year.
Expect to have several courses moving at once at different stages: one you're planning with an expert, one being shot, one in production, and one published course that you're reviewing and improving.
We're proud to have assembled a remarkable team of unicorns who uplift, motivate, and push each other to excel daily. There's a seat open for someone who shares our passion for excellence. Could that be you?
About You
You have at least 10 years of hands-on design experience. Thirty is not too many.
You have a network among designers you respect, and you're comfortable writing to someone you admire and presenting them with an opportunity.
You know what the design community wants to see, and what it needs to learn.
You're kind, and you have the social intelligence and empathy to engage well with very different kinds of people. Much of this job is convincing busy, accomplished people that what we're building is worth their time.
You can show us something you built or led: a product, a design team, a course, an AI teaching app, or a conference track. We're excited to hear what it was, your thinking behind it, how long it took you to create, what went wrong, and how you improved it.
You can take a broad, complex design practice and turn it into a step-by-step learning sequence that'll make a beginner feel and act confident. You can look at a plan for teaching something and see what's missing before anyone builds it.
You're a practical idealist. You know how to create great results through incremental quick wins and MVPs, and you know when to go all in and make something perfect.
Youâre a forward thinker who isnât afraid to innovate and try new things before others have.
You collaborate with AI in everything you do. You use AI to research, structure, write, and create faster, and you know how to take human leadership, so the outcome is 100% yours and better than you could have created without AI.
Youâre eager to help people build UX and UI skills because you know theyâre more relevant than ever in the age of AI.
You can teach a career changer the powerful skills of great design, and you can guide an experienced designer in upskilling. Perhaps you've mentored people, or youâve run your own company helping clients level up.
You give constructive feedback people can act on, and you can tell a talented colleague how they can improve their work without them becoming defensive.
You're genuinely curious about how AI is changing design work and design education.
You're fluent in written and spoken English and you can explain complex ideas clearly.
Youâre enthusiastic about learning by doing and are committed to putting in the effort to continuously improve your skills.
You spot problems before anyone else notices them, and when something goes off track you come back with a solution rather than a report.
You value teamwork, prioritize collaboration, and focus on collective goals and harmony in the workplace.
You're self-motivated, and you love creative freedom, independent judgment, and the responsibility that comes with both.
Youâre driven by the desire to make a positive impact in the world and to improve the lives of others.
If you still love designing in Figma and building interfaces with AI, there's room for that here. Some of our Course Directors design hands-on; others have moved fully into direction. Both work for us.
You've led a design team.
You publish your own thinking on design: articles, a book, educational material, a blog, or a social media presence.
You've spoken at design conferences, or you're on a first-name basis with people who do.
You've created design systems. Organizing complex material so other people can put it to use is a lot of what you'll be doing.
You've worked as an editor, or you've created online courses.
You have the graphic design skills to create image-based and interactive content for courses, articles, and social media.
You've built AI-supported learning tools yourself, or you've used AI to build products.
You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in UX, UI, HCI, AI, or a similar field.
Youâve collaborated with video production teams.
What We Can Offer
A highly valued role: You'll shape our core product, our courses and Master Classes.
Reach and impact that are difficult to find anywhere else in this field. A design leader might shape the work of thirty people on their team. Your decisions about what we teach will reach hundreds of thousands. They'll build better careers and design a better world for all of us.
Access:Â the designers you'd normally see on a conference stage are the people you'll email, plan with, and sit across from in a studio. Our name opens doors. An email from IxDF gets read, so the reach you have now is the floor, not the ceiling.
Autonomy: Nobody will ever hand you a template and tell you to fill it in.
Video-based collaboration with your colleagues from elsewhere on the planet, and we get together in person each year, on a team trip or for a studio production.
Colleagues with four to forty years of experience, and a culture where we follow the best idea, not the longest résumé.
We built online design education before people believed in it. AI is now changing what designers do, and they carry a bigger responsibility than ever. You'll be at the forefront of teaching designers to work with AI and to design responsibly for it. You'll help set a direction that shapes both the designers we teach and the people who use what they build. Together, we'll design a better world.

Founding Engineer (US)
Build the AI platform that's rewriting a $50B industry
Salary range - $180-220k USD + Equity + Benefits
About Haast
We're building one of the first agentic systems for enterprise legal and compliance teams that actually automates their manual work. End-to-end. Delivering 80% faster compliance reviews and 4x productivity gains.
We recently closed a $12M USD Series A (Peak XV Partners, DST Global, Airtree) and are growing fast in the US; building the infrastructure that will completely re-define how enterprises think about compliance.
Think Canva for design. Atlassian for projects. Haast for compliance.
The Problem
Compliance is a $50B global challenge. Enterprise legal and compliance teams spend a significant amount of time manually reviewing documents against policy, spotting regulatory risk, and signing off on content before go-to-market. It's painful and it's mission-critical.
We're building the infrastructure that makes this manageable at scale. You'll be working on systems that directly reduce risk and unlock productivity for some of the world's largest organisations.
The Role
As our first US based Engineer; you'll be the technical bridge between our product vision and our customers' reality.
You're a full-stack engineer who thrives at the intersection of innovation and execution, building our platform while staying connected to the teams actually using it.
You'll split your time between heads-down building (shipping code that matters) and being engaged with customers, understanding their pain points firsthand, iterating on features in real-time, and using that feedback to shape our product direction.
You'll own end-to-end technical decisions: designing systems, shipping to production, and iterating based on direct customer interaction.
This is high-autonomy work. You'll collaborate directly with our founding team, move at startup velocity, and have genuine influence over both our architecture and product roadmap.
What You'll Own
Design, architect, and ship full-stack features that directly solve our customers compliance challenges
Own the technical relationship with key customers; implementing solutions, gathering requirements, and translating feedback into product improvements
Build scalable services and APIs that power our LLM compliance platform while keeping the customer experience front and center
Make high-impact technical decisions quickly, knowing that you'll be accountable to both our engineering standards and our customers
Challenge assumptions on "why" and "how", you'll directly influence what we build and how we build it
Shape our product roadmap and engineering practices as we scale from Series A to market leadership
Who We're Looking For
You've built full-stack systems at meaningful scale; you're equally comfortable architecting backend services and shipping frontend code that customers interact with daily
You're deep on one or more of: Go, Node.js/TypeScript, or Python, and you're fluent enough across the stack to own features end-to-end
You understand APIs, distributed systems, and the tradeoffs between speed and reliability in production environments
You genuinely enjoy working with customers; you're not just shipping features, you want to understand the human problem you're solving
You've shipped in fast-moving environments and understand what it takes to move quickly without breaking things
You're curious about how LLMs work and excited about building practical applications on top of them, not just the theory
Why Join Haast
Competitive benefits: PTO, Health, Dental, Vision, 401k
Real impact, day one: Your code runs inside the workflows of major global enterprises immediately. You're solving mission-critical compliance problems that directly reduce risk and unlock productivity.
Forward-deployed influence: You'll spend time with customers, understanding their pain points and having direct input into product decisions. Your customer insights will shape our roadmap.
Equity upside: We're building a generational company in a $50B market. You'll own a meaningful stake in that value creation and be part of the defines how Haast scales. We believe in sharing success with the people who build it.
Exceptional learning velocity: You'll learn more about scaling systems, working with customers, building products, and navigating the demands of a fast-growing startup in 12 months here than most roles offer in three years.
Engineering-driven culture: No red tape. We hire smart people and get out of their way. Your voice matters in how we build.
Flexibility and community: Fully remote across the US or Canada.
How to Apply
We're looking for people who've shipped things they're proud of and want to work on a problem that genuinely matters.

Your CV
A brief note on this question: Tell us about a time you worked with customers to ship something they actually needed. What did it take to achieve the outcome?
No closing date. We review applications on a rolling basis.
At Haast, we believe bold ideas come from diverse perspectives. We're committed to building a team that reflects the world we work in. Even if you don't tick every box, we'd love to hear from you.

Oracle Fusion Cloud Lead â Logistics & Supply Chain Management
Greenfield Oracle Fusion Implementation
Company Tessera Labs AI
Role Type Senior consulting engagement â full-time or contract, workstream-critical role
Location Nearshore, based in Mexico or Brazil â remote-based delivery model; excellent business
English required for direct engagement with client stakeholders and leadership
Reports To Program Director / Engagement Lead, Tessera Labs AI
About the Role
Tessera Labs AI is a technology product firm delivering next-generation, AI-accelerated enterprise transformation programs. We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud Lead to own the Logistics and Supply Chain Management (SCM) workstream for a greenfield Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation for a fast-growing client.
This is a greenfield implementation from a process and configuration standpoint â there is no legacy SCM configuration to reverse-engineer or carry forward, and the opportunity is to stand up Oracle Fusion Cloud Inventory Management, Order Management, Indirect Procurement and related logistics processes from a blank slate, configured to Oracle standard wherever possible. Data is a different story: item, article, inventory, and other master and historical data still needs to be extracted, transformed, and loaded (ETL) from the client's legacy ERP into Oracle Fusion, and this role supports that migration effort alongside the functional design work.
This is a highly cross-functional, business-facing role. You will run discovery and design workshops directly with logistics, supply chain, and procurement stakeholders â including ownership of the Indirect Procurement value stream â translate their requirements into working Oracle Fusion design and configuration, and own the documentation trail from business requirement through configuration and test. You will also own the integration design connecting Oracle Fusion to Shopify for e-commerce order and inventory synchronization, and to the client'swarehouse management system(s) for outbound and inbound logistics â alongside integration with adjacent Oracle Fusion modules as applicable.
This is a nearshore delivery role, based in Mexico or Brazil, working in a remote-first model alongside Tessera's distributed FDE delivery and AI engineering teams. Because you will be running workshops and presenting directly tobusiness stakeholders and client leadership, excellent business English â spoken and written â is essential to this role.
Key Responsibilities
⢠Lead and facilitate business process workshops with logistics, supply chain, procurement, and operations stakeholders to capture requirements for a greenfield Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation, spanning Inventory Management, Order Management, Indirect Procurement, and related logistics processes.
⢠Own end-to-end functional configuration of Oracle Fusion modules â Inventory Management, Order
Management, and Procurement, with particular ownership of the Indirect Procurement value stream,
translating workshop outcomes into a working, standard-first system design.
⢠Configure and maintain the Oracle article/item master setup in line with fashion and apparel industry best practices (e.g., style, color, and size hierarchies, seasonal and pre-pack/kit structures) and Oracle Retail conventions.

Build and maintain containerized microservices, ensuring our AI platforms are reliable, scalable, and easy to deploy.
Integrate large language models and other AI capabilities into our tools through well-designed APIs and service layers.
Contribute to platform architecture decisions, helping shape how AI systems are built and operated at Wealthsimple.
Iterate quickly on new features and prototypes, balancing speed of delivery with long-term maintainability.
Establish patterns and best practices for AI system development that other teams can adopt.
Our technologies:
React for frontend development
Golang for backend services
Container-based architecture (Docker, Kubernetes)
AWS infrastructure
PostgreSQL and Redis for data persistence and caching
LLM APIs and AI/ML tooling
Datadog, Sentry, and Mixpanel for monitoring and observability
AI-assisted development workflow
What you bring:
Experience building and shipping production software as a full-stack or backend-focused developer.
Strong proficiency in Golang and React, or demonstrated ability to ramp quickly on both.
Hands-on experience with containerized architectures (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native deployment patterns.
Interest in or experience with AI/ML systems, LLM integrations, or building AI-powered products.
Ability to work across the full stack - from crafting user interfaces to designing APIs and backend services.
A product-oriented mindset: you care about the end-user experience and work with stakeholders to deliver features that solve real problems.
Clear communication with both technical and non-technical teams.
Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities and technology evolve quickly.
Nice-to-have's:
Experience building developer tools, internal platforms, or productivity software.
Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), prompt engineering, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns.
Background in building event-driven or streaming architectures.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
Background in financial services or regulated industries.

We are rebuilding biotech for the AI era.
When a breakthrough is delayed, the world waits. Getting a molecule from discovery to patients, or a crop from lab to field, involves thousands of slow, manual, disconnected steps. AI has the potential to change this, compressing decades of R&D work into years. But that only happens when clean, structured scientific data and AI are built into how science gets done.
Benchling is the AI platform for biotech R&D. Scientists use Benchling to design experiments, capture structured data, and run AI agents and models directly in their workflows. Over 200,000 scientists around the world trust Benchling to power their most important work, from academic labs to Sanofi, Moderna, and more than half of the world's top 50 biopharma.
Weâre building an AI scientist for our customers. We canât do that if we havenât built the muscle ourselves. AI fluency is the foundation we build on; it's core to how we work, and we're committed to helping every new hire integrate it into their day-to-day. As part of our interview process, you'll complete a brief AI-focused exercise or discussion so we can understand how you think about and use AI to drive impact in your role. Feel free to reference any tools, platforms, or workflows you use today.

Venture Media is a full-service content marketing agency. We help businesses grow through social media, podcast production, SEO and AI visibility, and full-funnel content systems. We are a small, fast-moving remote team that ships real client work every week.
The role
We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to support content production and daily execution across our client accounts and internal brands. You will keep the content engine running: scheduling posts, prepping assets, and running research. Your job will be across assistant and marketing work, so you should like variety.
Marketing expertise is a plus for this role, but it is not required. What matters most is having a basic understanding of marketing and a genuine desire to learn and develop deeper expertise. We use automation and clear systems for the heavy lifting, so your job is less about busywork and more about keeping things organized, checking quality, and helping our content and clients look great. You will work directly with the founder and learn how a modern agency runs end to end.
What you will do
- Content coordination and publishing. Schedule and publish blogs and posts, keep our content calendar organized, and make sure everything goes out on time. Much of the writing is already automated, so your role is organizing, reviewing, and adding the final human touch.
- Quality control. Do a first pass on assets from our editors, proofread copy and decks before they go to clients, and make sure feedback actually gets addressed.
- Research and reporting. Run market research for projects as needed, and help pull simple analytics reports so we know what is working.
- Social and community support. Help manage engagement and distribution across our platforms, and keep our own brand active and consistent.
- Light marketing execution. Learn the basics of SEO and AI search visibility, and help apply them to our content. We will teach you this piece by piece.
- General right-hand work. Jump on whatever the day needs. Some days that is research, some days it is organizing a project in our task tools, some days it is prepping something for a client.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's in a related field or equivalent hands-on experience
- 1 to 2 years in a marketing, social media, communications, or administrative role, ideally at an agency
- Extremely organized and proactive, able to juggle multiple priorities and stay detailed under deadline
- Comfortable with the major social platforms (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube) and scheduling tools
- Familiar with project management software
- A reliable communicator who keeps managers updated and follows through without being chased
- A flexible team player who adapts to shifting priorities and jumps in where needed
- Clear written English and comfort in an async remote setup
- Available during US Pacific business hours so we can work in real time
- Dedicated to this as your main full-time focus, not a side gig
Nice to have (not required)
- SEO or AI search visibility experience
- Experience with task managers like ClickUp
Who this is not for
This is not a fit if you need constant hand-holding, avoid feedback, or prefer slow work with a lot of meetings. We move fast, hold clear standards, and expect you to own your tasks.
What you get
- An hourly rate of $20 to $25 USD, based on your experience.
- Direct mentorship from the founder and a front-row seat to how a marketing agency runs
- Real room to grow. As we grow, you grow, in both responsibility and pay
- A long-term home, not a short-term contract
How to apply
Submit your resume and a short note about yourself, and answer this one question: what is one thing you would most want to get better at in this role, and why?
We read every application that answers it.

About Blue Oak Consulting
Blue Oak Consulting provides independent advisory on pricing, portfolio economics, capital allocation, and acquisition assumptions. We are not a traditional consulting firm focused on broad transformation programs or high level strategy decks. Instead, we interrogate specific commercial decisions where the financial stakes are high and the existing narrative is not sufficient. Our team looks past corporate language and P&L complexity to identify where value is leaking or capital is trapped. We work across sectors like software, manufacturing, and healthcare to test whether the assumptions behind a growth plan or an acquisition actually hold under pressure. We are a small, principal led firm where the people who do the work are the ones accountable for the results. We do not take transaction contingent fees, which allows us to be completely honest about whether the economics of a decision make sense. Our goal is to provide clarity through financial discipline and a healthy amount of skepticism.
The Role
This is a full time, permanent position that is conducted entirely in a remote environment. You will work closely with our principals to dig into the numbers provided by our partners, often starting with the Italian infrastructure project. The goal is to move past P&L complexity and find where value might be leaking. You will be expected to think critically and ask why certain numbers exist high up in a spreadsheet, rather than just accepting them as facts. This role offers an attractive and competitive compensation package for an entry level professional looking to gain deep experience in financial analysis.
What You Will Be Doing
- Cleaning and organizing large datasets from various sources to build a clear financial picture.
- Testing the logic behind pricing assumptions to see if they survive real world friction.
- Helping build financial models that track capital allocation across different infrastructure assets.
- Identifying outliers and anomalies in expenditure reports that do not align with the stated narrative.
- Updating portfolio economics trackers to reflect new acquisition data.
- Collaborating with the team through virtual channels to clarify findings and refine analysis.
- Preparing clear summaries of data trends that highlight potential financial risks.
- Verifying the accuracy of inputs used in growth forecasts for specific business units.
- Assisting in the interrogation of acquisition assumptions for new investment opportunities.
- A degree or background in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field with a heavy emphasis on data.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to manage complex formulas and large tables.
- A skeptical mindset that enjoys finding inconsistencies in spreadsheets and reports.
- Comfort working in a fully remote setting where communication is largely written and specific.
- Ability to organize messy data into structured formats without losing important context.
- Interest in how large businesses actually spend money and allocate internal capital.
- Reliability and a willingness to learn how to scrutinize financial statements at a deep level.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when reviewing line items that seem out of place.
- A fully remote work schedule that provides flexibility and removes the need for a daily commute.
- Direct access to firm principals who provide mentorship and clear feedback on your work.
- The opportunity to work on high stakes projects, such as our current work with the Italian infrastructure group.
- A professional environment focused on logic and evidence rather than corporate politics.
- Practical training in financial modeling and capital allocation analysis.
- A permanent, stable role within a firm that values individual accountability and results.

This position exists to ensure the digital interfaces used in our client mandates are as clear and rigorous as our strategic analysis. We are currently supporting a major organization based in Birmingham, and this role will help build the tools used to visualize their corporate governance structures. You will translate the logic of our senior partners into functional, professional user interfaces.
About Arabian Private Holdings
Arabian Private Holdings was founded on the principle that many critical business problems do not fit the traditional large firm consulting model. A board facing a succession question or a family group weighing a capital injection does not need a team of twelve associates and a hundred page methodology deck. They need experienced partners who can sit with a problem, form a rigorous view, and defend it. We take on a limited number of mandates to ensure that every client receives direct attention from the principals who are actually accountable for the outcome. Our work covers corporate strategy, governance, and operating model efficiency for significant family groups and government entities. We operate as a fully remote firm, choosing to prioritize the quality of our analysis and the strength of our relationships over traditional office overhead.
What you will do
- Develop responsive and clean user interface components using modern web technologies.
- Collaborate with firm principals to understand the data requirements for our Birmingham based client projects.
- Maintain a consistent visual language across all digital reports and internal analytical tools.
- Build and refine dashboards that help clients achieve portfolio clarity and understand complex data sets.
- Write clean, documented code that adheres to our internal standards for simplicity and reliability.
- Debug front end issues and ensure that our tools perform reliably across different browsers and devices.
- Help transform static operating model diagrams into interactive digital components.
- Participate in internal reviews to ensure that our software tools align with the professional tone of the firm.
- Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- A basic understanding of modern front end libraries, such as React or Vue, gained through studies or personal projects.
- The ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely in writing.
- A logical mindset that prioritizes functional clarity over unnecessary visual complexity.
- Attention to detail in layout, typography, and the way information is structured on a screen.
- A willingness to learn about corporate governance and holding company structures.
We operate as a global remote firm, which means our effectiveness relies on written precision and individual accountability. Without the distractions of a physical office, we focus our energy on solving complex problems for our clients. Mentorship happens through direct interaction on active mandates, where junior team members work closely with principals to understand how to form a view and defend it. We value honesty and directness. If a solution is not working or a design is too complicated, we address it immediately. This environment requires a high level of self discipline and a genuine interest in the intersection of engineering and corporate strategy.
What the role offers
- A permanent, full time position within a principal led strategy firm.
- The flexibility of a fully remote work arrangement.
- Direct exposure to high level corporate strategy and governance projects.
- Competitive pay that is attractive for an entry level position in today's market.
- A professional environment where your work has a visible impact on client outcomes.
- Clear mentorship and a path to grow your technical skills within a specialized sector.

At Check, weâre not just building our own business â weâre building payroll businesses together with every one of our partners. As the inventors of embedded payroll, weâre redefining how people get paid and making it easier for payroll businesses to launch, grow, and thrive.
On our team you'll use creative problem-solving, critical thinking, and grit to simplify the complexity of payroll for thousands of employers of every size, across all industries. We ignore conventional role boundaries in favor of the unique strengths and values each builder brings to our mission: make paying people simple.

The Support team plays a critical role in keeping payroll running for thousands of businesses and millions of workers by supporting the platforms that build payroll products on top of Check's infrastructure. When questions arise or something doesn't behave as expected, we investigate what happened, explain it clearly, and drive toward a solution.
This role sits at the intersection of payroll expertise and technical product knowledge, and the work is fast-moving, analytical, and highly investigative. A typical day involves untangling complex payroll scenarios, identifying root causes, partnering across the company to solve problems, and communicating clearly with partners whose payroll expertise may range from seasoned professionals to first-time operators. Along the way, you'll develop deep expertise in Check's platform, payroll operations, and the broader payroll ecosystem while building trusted relationships with the partner teams you support.
Support sits at the center of Check's product ecosystem. We work closely with Engineering, Product, Tax, Risk, and other teams to troubleshoot issues, surface product insights, and improve the platform. Few roles offer the same visibility into how modern payroll infrastructure operates at scale. If you enjoy solving layered problems, asking thoughtful questions, and translating technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance, you'll thrive here.
In This Role, You Will
- Provide exceptional partner support. You'll manage a high volume of partner requests, primarily through written communication, balancing urgency with thoughtful investigation while consistently meeting or exceeding SLAs.
- Investigate complex payroll problems. You'll dive deep into payroll and tax questions, break issues into manageable pieces, trace root causes through our systems, and drive issues toward resolution with accuracy, curiosity, and ownership.
- Collaborate across the company to resolve issues. You'll partner closely with Engineering, Product, Tax, Risk, and other teams to troubleshoot issues, escalate bugs, and help drive solutions that unblock partners quickly.
- Surface patterns and improve the system. You'll identify recurring partner questions, operational friction points, and product trends, surfacing insights that improve documentation, workflows, and product behavior.
- Build trusted relationships. Whether youâre working with experienced payroll professionals or teams who are brand new to the industry, youâll build trust by bringing empathy, ownership, and transparency to every interaction and explaining technical or operational issues in ways they understand.
- Escalate thoughtfully. Youâll exercise careful judgment about how and when to pull others in on a problem or escalate upward, and youâll ensure everyone has clear context so they can quickly understand the problem and help identify a path to resolution.
- Deliver service that feels personal. Youâll build lasting relationships with our partners by developing a deep understanding of their platforms and the businesses they serve. Youâll establish yourself as a reliable and trusted resource by making people feel heard, helped, and valued.
- 2+ years in a client- or partner-facing role, supporting customers, partners, or technical products.
- 1+ years working at a payroll provider, payroll platform, HR technology company, fintech company, or in a role that required applying payroll knowledge to solve customer problems
- Experience balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced support or operations environment
- Strong investigative instincts and genuine curiosity to understand not just what happened, but why
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while solving complex problems
- Comfortable collaborating across technical, operational, and administrative teams to solve partner problems and enable new business capabilities
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical or operational concepts clearly and empathetically
- Experience using ticketing or case management systems (Zendesk preferred)
- Willingness and availability to attend our annual 3 day company offsite each spring

But it's never been harder to monetize it.
