Our platform enables automated conversations across SMS, email, voice, and more, helping small businesses scale without losing their personal touch. As a PHP/Laravel Developer, you’ll contribute to a scalable backend, API integrations, and real-time messaging services that power our core product and future growth. You’ll report directly to our CTO and CEO, collaborate with AI and frontend teams, and help shape the technical foundation for our high-concurrency, multi-tenant SaaS environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Laravel-based backend applications.
  • Manage large-scale workloads using queues (Beanstalkd, Redis, Supervisor, Horizon).
  • Build and integrate internal and 3rd-party APIs (CRMs, messaging platforms, payment systems).
  • Write clean, efficient, and testable PHP code following modern best practices.
  • Collaborate with AI and frontend teams to deliver new features.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance and scalability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years PHP/Laravel experience
  • PHP 8+ proficiency
  • Queue systems: Beanstalkd, Redis, Supervisor, Horizon
  • MySQL: indexes, migrations, performance tuning
  • RESTful API and webhook design
  • Git, Docker, and Linux servers
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable in a remote, collaborative environment

Nice to Have

  • Vue.js or modern frontend framework
  • CRM integrations (HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • AI/ML-driven application experience
  • High-concurrency system scaling
  • Telephony/messaging APIs (Twilio, Plivo)
