The Fraud Analyst is part of the Risk & Compliance team within Nymbus. The Fraud Analyst is
responsible for supporting the Senior Director of Fraud in the overall fraud function, with the ongoing
review, management, and referral of potential suspicious or fraudulent activity identified through
various reports, alerts and non-alert based sources, that are managed on behalf of regulated financial
institutions.
This unique position offers an Analyst the opportunity to analyze fraud patterns across
multiple clients and fraud programs, while being able to connect the dots if and when overlap occurs.
The Analyst works cross-functionally with both internal operational and support teams, as well as
external client contacts for multiple regulated financial institutions. The Analyst will use independent
and professional judgment when analyzing fraud performing investigations.
Additionally, the Fraud Analyst will ensure that all cases of suspicious or potentially fraudulent activity are evaluated,
documented, and escalated in accordance with the standard operating procedures.

As a Software Engineer, you will be a core contributor to Verint's QM and PM engineering team. POSITION SUMMARY
We are building and scaling a high-performance consumer lending platform and are looking for a Fraud Risk Analyst to help protect the business from identity fraud, first-party fraud, and credit abuse.
This role sits at the intersection of fraud, credit, and analytics, and will directly impact early loss performance and portfolio quality.
You will be responsible for identifying fraud patterns, building detection strategies, and implementing controls that prevent bad actors from entering the portfolio.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role suited for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and biased toward action, not just case review.
You will work closely with Credit, Product, Operations and Engineering to ensure fraud risk is properly identified and separated from credit risk in decisioning.
This role is Addison, TX-based with a 4-day in-office requirement.
WHAT YOUâLL BE DOING
- Analyze application and early performance data to identify fraud patterns, including synthetic identity, first-party fraud, and credit abuse.
- Develop and implement fraud detection strategies, including rules, thresholds, and decisioning logic.

- Distinguish fraud risk vs credit risk, improving approval quality and reducing early loss.

WHAT YOUâLL BRING
Required
- Degree in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or a related field
- 4â6 years of experience in fraud, risk, or analytics, preferably in fintech, lending, or financial services
- Strong analytical skills with experience using SQL, Python, Excel, or similar tools to analyze large datasets
- Understanding of key fraud types, including synthetic identity and first-party fraud and familiarity with fraud tools (i.e. identity verification, device fingerprinting, consortium data)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Build Robust APIs: Design and implement secure, well-structured APIs in PHP and Go to power billing events, payment processing, and financial data flows across our platform and Shopify integrations.
Legacy Modernization: Lead and contribute to the migration of our Code Igniter 2 codebase to Code Igniter 4. This is high-priority, near-term work with real business dependencies â including enterprise partnership commitments â and requires a PHP engineer with the experience and judgment to do it right.
Agentify the Platform: Partner with product and engineering to identify where AI agents can automate workflows, surface insights, and guide merchants through our product. Build the backend systems â APIs, data pipelines, and event hooks â that enable intelligent automation. This is genuinely new territory and one of the most exciting growth vectors for Rebuyâs product.

What You'll Do
As a Software Engineer at Pomelo, you will be a key contributor to your team, building and refining the technology that underpins everything we do. On any given day, you may:
- Write clean, well-tested code to ship new features and keep our platform running smoothly

Who You Are
You're an enthusiastic and collaborative engineer who enjoys solving meaningful problems. You have a knack for finding practical solutions and are motivated by seeing your work have a direct impact on users. In particular, you:
- Have a strong foundation in computer science, typically from a bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent professional experience
- Have at least two years of experience building and shipping high-quality software using languages like Java, C#, Kotlin, Python, Go, or similar

The Role
A highly entrepreneurial investing role operating across growth equity investments, strategic finance, fundraising, and portfolio support initiatives within the energy transition ecosystem.
The position offers broad exposure across the full investment lifecycle, including:
- Evaluating and executing minority growth equity investments
- Financial modeling, underwriting, and investment analysis
- Supporting fundraising and LP-related initiatives
- Working directly with portfolio company management teams
- Supporting strategic and operational initiatives across portfolio investments
- Participating in transaction execution, due diligence, and investment committee materials
