Front End Engineer
  • Decile Group
  • Remote
front end rails javascript html

Decile Group is transforming venture capital into a force for good in the world. We are working to launch 1,000 next-generation venture capital firms, changing the face of venture capital. We run VC Lab, the leading venture capital accelerator worldwide, and operate the Decile Hub platform — reducing the barriers of entry for next-generation investors to launch and grow meaningful early-stage investment firms.

We're looking for a Head of Product to own the full product experience of Decile Hub and build it into a world-class tool. Read more about the Decile Group tech team here: https://github.com/VCLab-Inc/Engineering

The ideal candidate cares deeply about how things look and how they feel to use. You work within a Rails codebase comfortably and you have above-average front-end instincts — the kind that make you notice when a button is two pixels off or a loading state is creating unnecessary anxiety for the user. You're not precious about tools, you use AI to accelerate your work, and you're motivated to build something that real people rely on every day.

You don't need a long resume. You need to be able to show us something you've built that you're proud of.

Basic requirements:

  • You'll be expected to complete a Rails coding challenge as part of the interview process (everyone on the Decile Group team has done well on it).
  • You must live and work within a few time zones of Pacific (California) time. We are on Zoom and Slack a lot.
  • You must have above-average front-end skills — HTML, CSS, JavaScript — and a strong eye for UI detail.
  • You should be actively using AI tools in your daily workflow.

If you're motivated to build beautiful, functional software that helps the next generation of investors do their best work — we want to meet you.

And we want to work with you too.

\n

What You'll Do
  • Build polished, performant front-end experiences. Own the UI layer of Decile Hub features — from layout and interaction design to responsive behavior and accessibility. Care about every pixel.
  • Work within a Rails codebase. Use Hotwire, Turbo, and Stimulus alongside ERB templates. Understand the Rails request cycle well enough to work efficiently across the stack.
  • Translate designs into real interfaces. Work closely with product and design to implement flows that are not just functional but feel great to use. Raise issues when a design won't hold up in practice.
  • Use AI to move faster. Use AI coding tools actively throughout your workflow — UI generation, debugging, refactoring, writing tests. Help Decile Group stay ahead.
  • Improve UI consistency and quality across the product. Identify patterns that can be systematized, components that can be reused, and rough edges that should be smoothed. Contribute to a shared design system.

What You Bring
  • 3+ years of professional front-end development experience, including work within Rails applications
  • Strong command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — you can build complex layouts and interactions without reaching for a heavy framework
  • Experience with Hotwire/Turbo/Stimulus or eagerness to learn it deeply
  • A genuine eye for good UI — you notice what most engineers miss
  • Active use of AI coding tools as part of your workflow
  • Ability to communicate clearly with designers and product managers about what's feasible and what isn't
  • Portfolio or examples of real work you've shipped

Nice to Have
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first CSS frameworks
  • Familiarity with data-heavy or workflow-heavy SaaS interfaces (tables, forms, dashboards)
  • Basic comfort with Ruby and Rails beyond the front end

\n
$120,000 - $150,000 a year

How to Apply:

If you don't tick every box above, we'd still encourage you to apply. We're building a diverse team whose skills balance and complement one another.

Please describe why you are uniquely qualified for this position in the competitive field of Venture Capital to apply, as well as submitting your resume.

Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience.

full stack engineer react backend

The Role

We’re hiring a Founding Full Stack Engineer to help build the core infrastructure and product surfaces that define Noho’s patient and clinician experience.

You’ll work closely with our Co-Founders, CMO, Product Designer / Design Engineer, and Head of Growth to ship end-to-end features across:

  • Telehealth workflows (intake, scheduling, visits, follow-ups)

  • Clinical tooling (charting, orders, protocols, dashboards)

  • Patient experiences (onboarding, labs, education, ongoing care)

  • Operations infrastructure (fulfillment, quality, compliance, analytics)

This is a high-ownership, high-context role: you’re not a ticket-taker; you’re a builder helping shape what the product is and how it scales.

What You’ll Work On

Core Product & Telehealth Experience

  • Own end-to-end development of patient and clinician-facing features: from initial spec and architecture through implementation, launch, and iteration.

  • Build intuitive flows for intake, eligibility, visit scheduling, and follow-up that feel modern while staying clinically rigorous.

  • Integrate video, messaging, and asynchronous care into a cohesive telehealth experience.

Clinical & Operations Infrastructure

  • Build tools that make clinicians’ lives easier: charting workflows, order sets, structured data capture, and decision-support surfaces.

  • Work on fulfillment and quality operations: integrating with U.S.-based distributors sourcing from FDA-registered and inspected manufacturers.

  • Implement robust admin and internal tools for patient support, care coordination, and growth experiments.

Systems, Integrations & Safety

  • Design and maintain scalable, secure APIs and data models for medical records, prescriptions, and longitudinal patient data.

  • Integrate with third-party systems (EHR/EMR, labs, pharmacies, logistics, payment providers) where it makes sense—and build internally when it doesn’t.

  • Collaborate with clinical and compliance stakeholders to ensure privacy, security, and regulatory requirements are embedded in the product, not bolted on.

Product & Company Building

  • Partner with founders and design on product discovery: talk to users, observe clinicians, prototype and validate ideas quickly.

  • Help shape our engineering culture, standards, and tooling from the ground up.

  • Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and mentoring future engineers as the team grows.

You Might Be a Fit If…

  • You have 5+ years of professional experience as a full stack or backend-leaning engineer.

  • You’ve shipped and owned meaningful production systems in a startup or high-growth environment.

  • You’re comfortable across the stack:

    • Backend: designing APIs, data models, queueing/async processing, integrating third-party APIs

    • Frontend: building usable, polished interfaces in a modern framework (React or similar)

  • You care deeply about reliability, correctness, and safety, especially when dealing with health data or sensitive operations.

  • You enjoy working with non-technical stakeholders (clinicians, operations, growth) and translating messy requirements into clean, pragmatic solutions.

  • You’re comfortable with ambiguity and like taking problems from: “We should probably do X” → “here’s a proposal and a first version in prod.”

  • You think in systems, not just features: you care about the long-term maintainability of what you build.

Nice-to-Haves

None of these are required, but they’re great signals:

  • Experience in healthcare, telemedicine, or regulated products (HIPAA, PHI, etc.).

  • Prior work integrating with EMRs/EHRs, labs, pharmacies, or insurance systems.

  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures, background jobs, or analytics pipelines.

  • Experience on an early-stage or founding engineering team.

  • Comfort digging into product metrics and using data to inform iterations.

How We Work

We are remote-first with teammates in LA, SF, NYC, North Carolina, and more. Every six weeks, the full-time team meets for an in-person offsite.

The way we operate:

  • Patients before process. Agency over authority.

  • Speed with safety. Move fast, treat responsibly.

  • Bias to build. Less debate, more demo.

  • Forgiveness > Permission. Act like an owner.

  • Earn trust. Trust is our most valuable currency.

The surface area is large and the team is small. Your work will be visible, meaningful, and felt by real patients quickly.

marketing ads ai

Job post summary

Date posted: May 9, 2026

Pay: €1,500.00 - €3,000.00 per month

Job description:

You're right, I sanded it down too much. The whole point of the role is the creative-to-audience-to-data loop, and I cut that out. Here's a version that keeps the depth, still passes Indeed:

Meta Ads Manager + Creative Producer (Remote, AI-Native)

We are hiring one person to own Meta advertising end-to-end for a portfolio of AI-powered SaaS products sold to small businesses in Europe and other regions. This role combines audience strategy, creative production, and performance analysis. It is not a media-buying role and it is not a creative role. It is both.

About the role

You will be responsible for understanding each target audience deeply enough to design creative that speaks to them, producing that creative yourself using modern AI tools, launching campaigns across multiple countries and languages, and reading Meta's data closely enough to know which variant is working, why, and what to do next. You will work directly with the founder with no layers in between.

Responsibilities

  • Research and define target audiences for each product and each market, including their pain points, language, objections, and the visual codes they respond to
  • Translate that audience understanding into creative concepts and hooks that fit each segment
  • Produce video and static ad creative end-to-end using AI tools such as Midjourney, Runway, Seedance, ElevenLabs, and similar
  • Build and launch 5 or more creative variants per campaign cycle, structured for clean testing
  • Read Meta Ads Manager data in depth: hook rate, thumb-stop rate, CTR, CPM, frequency, audience overlap, attribution windows, and post-purchase signals
  • Diagnose what is actually driving performance, not just which ad has the lowest CPA on the surface
  • Pause losing variants quickly, scale winners, and rebuild the testing queue weekly
  • Localise creative and messaging for non-English markets where you may not have lived
  • Integrate Meta with internal analytics, CRM, and backend systems; technical curiosity required
  • Report results weekly with a clear narrative, not just a dashboard screenshot

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience managing Meta ad budgets of €10,000 per month or more
  • A portfolio of ads you have personally created and personally run, with the performance data behind them
  • Strong creative judgment, especially for the first 2 seconds of short-form video
  • Daily working knowledge of AI creative tools as part of a real production workflow
  • Deep familiarity with Meta Ads Manager analytics beyond surface-level metrics
  • Ability to work independently and move fast without hand-holding
  • Comfort with technical setup such as Conversions API, pixel events, CRM integrations, and basic API work
  • Fluent written English

    Please read:

    1. This is a software engineering role. We are looking for applicants with minimum 5 years of software engineering experience, with a particular background in TypeScript. While we are building software on top of LLMs, this is not a machine learning role.

    2. This role is remote (France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Germany) but can also be office-based (hybrid) in Barcelona, Paris, Milan, Munich or Cairo.

We're looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer (Applied AI) to join one of several exciting product initiatives currently in progress that leverage the latest in AI, particularly using Large Language Models (LLMs). One example project is extending our AI CoPilot product (currently only available in Heap) to more surfaces, allowing users without expertise in product or digital experience analytics to answer their questions simply by asking them.

We are moving rapidly  to leverage LLMs to reduce time to insight, make setup easier, and much more.

As our next Senior Software Engineer (Applied AI), you will be focused on product development, with a side of early product iteration. For example, we expect engineers to participate in user interviews as we validate product hypotheses.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a “startup within the startup.” We move quickly from idea to proof of concept to interview to product, ensuring that what we build provides actual value to our customers.

As LLMs and the related technologies are growing and changing rapidly, we are enthusiastic about new ideas and libraries but discerning – what we build is foundational.

We're a distributed team that operates across the US and Europe. We're open to hiring the right person anywhere within the US East Coast time zone or Europe.

    \n

    What we’re looking for
    • Desire to work in a fast-paced development environment where the customer is in the loop. We prefer to fail fast and start over than to learn too late that we’ve built the wrong thing.
    • Strong motivation to build an AI feature.
    • Extensive fullstack web application development experience (5+ years), preferably in a data-related industry.
    • Experience with Typescript, with a variety of front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Node...).

    Nice to have
    • Strong opinions, weakly held about how to evaluate the performance of an LLM-based application.
    • Experience bringing an application built on top of LLMs from inception to market.
    • Ability to iterate/prototype rapidly to answer data-related using LLMs (and other ML when appropriate).
    • Awareness of what LLMs are good at, what they’re not good at, and how to navigate this.
    • Familiarity with various LLM providers and their relative tradeoffs.

    POSITION SUMMARY

We are building and scaling a high-performance consumer lending platform and are looking for a Fraud Risk Analyst to help protect the business from identity fraud, first-party fraud, and credit abuse.

This role sits at the intersection of fraud, credit, and analytics, and will directly impact early loss performance and portfolio quality.

You will be responsible for identifying fraud patterns, building detection strategies, and implementing controls that prevent bad actors from entering the portfolio.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role suited for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and biased toward action, not just case review.

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

    • Analyze application and early performance data to identify fraud patterns, including synthetic identity, first-party fraud, and credit abuse.
    • Develop and implement fraud detection strategies, including rules, thresholds, and decisioning logic.
    • Monitor early performance (e.g., FPD, zero-pay accounts) to identify potential fraud-driven losses.
    • Distinguish fraud risk vs credit risk, improving approval quality and reducing early loss.
    • Evaluate and optimize third-party fraud tools and data sources (e.g., identity verification, device intelligence, consortium data).
    • Design and execute tests to evaluate fraud strategies and improve detection performance.
    • Work with Product and Engineering to implement fraud rules and ensure accurate execution in production systems.
    • Investigate emerging fraud trends and proactively recommend changes to controls and policies.
    • Collaborate with Operations or servicing teams to improve fraud identification post-origination.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure decisions align with business goals and risk appetite.

    WHAT YOU’LL BRING

    Required

    • Degree in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or a related field
    • 4–6 years of experience in fraud, risk, or analytics, preferably in fintech, lending, or financial services
    • Strong analytical skills with experience using SQL, Python, Excel, or similar tools to analyze large datasets
    • Understanding of key fraud types, including synthetic identity and first-party fraud and familiarity with fraud tools (i.e. identity verification, device fingerprinting, consortium data)
    • Experience identifying fraud patterns or working with fraud detection strategies (i.e. credit washing etc.)
    • Ability to translate analysis into clear actions (rules, controls, strategy changes) and exposure to A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, or champion/challenger strategies
    • Passion for keeping your skills up to date and exploring new methodologies
    • The ability to distill complex problems and analysis into a clear and concise narrative

    Preferred

    • Experience in subprime consumer lending, fintech, payments, or another regulated financial services technology environment.
    • Hands-on experience applying AI to fraud management

    BENEFITS & PERKS

Compensation at Braviant is competitive and commensurate with experience. Details will be discussed with qualified candidates during the interview process. In addition, we provide:

    DevRel Content Creator
    • SuperPlane
    • Remote
    marketing dev devops

    About SuperPlane

SuperPlane is an open source control plane where AI agents and engineers run operations together. We're a team of 10, founded by the creators of Semaphore CI/CD. Our users are DevOps and platform engineers at mid-size to large engineering orgs.

We have a product engineers love, an open source repo with 2K+ stars, and events in the pipeline. What we don't have is someone dedicated to showing the world what SuperPlane can do. We ship fast but our content doesn't keep up. We need someone who can turn what we build into blog posts, tutorials, demos, and videos that resonate with practitioners.

    What you'll own

This is our first DevRel hire. Your priorities, in order:

    1. Video content: Create screencasts, product walkthroughs, and video demos that show SuperPlane in action. You're comfortable on camera and can produce polished content without a production team.

    2. Technical content: Build working use cases and turn them into blog posts, tutorials, and guides. The typical flow: explore the product, develop a real workflow, write it up, then turn it into a video.

    3. Community presence: Be SuperPlane's voice in our Discord, on Reddit, Hacker News, and relevant DevOps Slack groups. Welcome new users, answer questions, surface interesting discussions, and represent us in a natural, non-salesy way.

    4. Events (occasional): Represent SuperPlane at conferences or meetups a few times per year.

    What success looks like

    In the first 6 months:

    • A consistent publishing cadence: written content and videos shipping weekly

    • Content that drives meaningful traffic and signups from organic search and social media shares

    • Active, visible presence in community channels where our users hang out

    • A growing library of use-case demos that the sales and product teams can reference

    You're a fit if

    • You have a DevOps or platform engineering background. You've managed deployments, written CI pipelines, used tools like Terraform or Kubernetes. You could still be an engineer if you wanted to, but you prefer making content.

    • You can write working code. Your tutorials include real, runnable examples. You can spin up a staging environment, write a Lambda function, or put together a working pipeline without needing an engineer to pair with.

    • You have deep product intuition. You pick up a tool and immediately start exploring what's possible. You think in workflows and use cases, not feature lists.

    • You're curious and self-directed. You find the next interesting thing to talk about on your own. You follow the right people, notice opportunities, and don't wait to be told what to write.

    • You can produce video content. Screencasts, walkthroughs, short demos. You don't need a production team. You can do this solo with good tools.

    • You use AI tools daily. Coding agents, LLMs for drafting and review, AI-assisted prototyping. You see these as basic infrastructure for doing good work.

    • You're comfortable working async in a distributed team.

    Logistics

    • Remote-first. We support co-working costs if needed.

    • Timezone: GMT-5 to GMT+3 (US East Coast through Europe).

Compensation: Early-stage startup salary (not FAANG rates) plus significant equity in a company with real traction and experienced founders. If you're looking for a safe big-company paycheck, this isn't it. If you want meaningful ownership in something that's working, let's talk.

We welcome candidates of all backgrounds, genders, orientations, ethnicities, ages, and abilities. If you're looking for a place to do your best work and know your contributions are valued, you'll feel right at home here.

    Senior Full Stack Engineer
    • Teleport
    • United States
    senior full stack engineer go

We help companies stay secure while moving fast.

Built by engineers for engineers, The Teleport Access Platform delivers on-demand, least privileged access to infrastructure based on cryptographic identity and zero trust, with built-in identity security and policy governance, making the happy path for engineers the secure path.

Teleport is trusted by the world’s fastest-moving companies, including Elastic, Snowflake, Doordash, and NASDAQ. We recently raised US$110M at a US$1.1B valuation.

    Our Vision

Today's computing environments have too much complexity, too many network boundaries, and too little trust. Complexity slows engineers down and leads to human errors. Complex systems can’t be secure despite the red tape of bureaucracy. We make trusted computing simple. This gives engineers the freedom to move and build a better future.

    Why Teleport

At Teleport, we focus on empowering our people to accomplish their goals by working alongside highly talented people to make the most of their careers. You have the freedom, autonomy and trust to do what you’re great at and have a significant impact on the future prospects of the company.

Whether that’s taking a feature or project from ideation to deployment or working with some of the biggest, most interesting companies in the world and solving real challenges for them, we want you to help us build the future.

We’re not a big company. You won’t get lost in a crowd. Instead, we move fast, with a team that wants to make an impact, that shares in our success, and gives you the freedom, power, and autonomy to become the very best at what you do.

You will be joining the Teleport engineering team, responsible for building our unified access plane for SSH servers, Kubernetes clusters, databases, and other infrastructure.

Teleport is an open source project, written in Go and Rust with web-based UIs in TypeScript with React.

    What does that mean?

    - It means you’ll have the autonomy to make your own decisions and focus on what’s important to you and your role.

    - It means having access to a senior team that supports you and wants to see you succeed.

    - You’ll have a smart team you can learn from, collaborate with, and grow with.

    - It means being able to make an impact and have a voice in the future of the feature, product or company direction. We don’t just leave you to focus on a niche. We allow you to spread your wings and take advantage of opportunities, challenging projects and exciting problems.

    - It means removing the bureaucracy and red tape that stifles innovation while giving you access to all the information you need to build and take action more quickly.

    - It means allowing you to have the career you’ve always wanted today, rather than having to “earn your stripes” and wait for the right moment. If you’re good enough, you’re good enough.

    But we don’t stop there.

In addition to the career opportunities at Teleport, we offer a whole range of benefits that help you to maximize your future, including:

    - Extensive health coverage

    - Annual expense budget

    - Rest & recovery policies that maximize leave and your ability to recharge

    - Investment in your future with retirement savings plans

    - Equity in a US $1.1-bn business

    - Professional development opportunities

Do you have what it takes?

Get to use (and know) Teleport through our unique interview process

At Teleport, we do things a bit differently. And when we say we only hire top talent, we actually mean it. Because of this, our interview process is different too - and we’re proud of it.  We let your work do the talking. We don’t go in for six rounds of interviews, live whiteboard or live-coding. We don’t hire people that can talk a good game. We only want the best. And for that, we need to see what you can do,  in your own time, in your own way.  For real.

But interviews are a two-way street. Through the project, you’ll get a real taste of life at Teleport, including:

    - We’re flexible - you’ll have plenty of time to complete your project, if life gets in the way, that’s ok. We can - work around you.

    - We give you autonomy  - you’ll have the space and freedom to figure things out, make decisions, and problem-solve.

    - We’re collaborative -  Got questions?

    - We have answers. You’ll have support from your team - the one you’ll be working with day in day out if you’re successful in getting the role.

    - We progress careers - During the project,  see how much you learn. That’s what working at Teleport is like. We like learning, on the job. All-the-time.

    - We can move fast (if you can) - two weeks sound like a long time? No problem? Early submissions are fine, and we’ll keep the process moving.

Think you’ve got what it takes? We’d love to see it! Unconvinced? We can guarantee three things:

    - It’ll challenge you.

    - You'll learn a lot.

    - If you love the process, you'll love working at Teleport.

Teleport is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant on the basis of age, color, disability, gender, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, veteran status, or any classifications protected by federal, state, or local law.

    About Brave

Brave is on a mission to protect the human right to privacy online. We’ve built a free web browser that blocks creepy ads and trackers by default, a private search engine with a truly independent index, a private ad network (opt-in!) that directly rewards you for your attention, and a browser-native AI integration focused on keeping private data private. And we’re just getting started. Already 110 million people have switched to Brave for a faster, more private web. Millions more switch every month.

The internet is a sea of ads, hackers, and echo chambers. Big Tech makes huge profits off our data, and tells us what’s true and what’s not. Brave is fighting back. Join us!

The Browser AI team are building core browser features, and exploring new ideas about how the personal nature of the browser can help create the best AI experience for research and creative tasks. Brave allows the user to attach tabs, history, bookmarks and files to AI conversations. Brave also allows the user to experiment with AI joining in with its own web browsing. We’re looking for a new team member capable of iterating these ideas and creating beautiful user experiences for these features. UI engineers will often work with other engineers to create the end-to-end features, or develop the skills necessary to implement the entire feature themselves.

Brave has an exciting UI engineering culture. We share knowledge and patterns across both teams and disciplines, overlapping closely with designers. We work with internal design systems, multiple UI frameworks, and make effective decisions on these features as a team.

This role is at an exciting intersection between web UI, web browser internals, and AI possibilities.

Brave is a start-up, and we have the ability to change plans quickly in response to new information or circumstances. This means that new needs can emerge on short notice, and projects are often re-mixed and adjusted in response to new input. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to influence those choices and other areas of the team.

Many engineers in this role at Brave start from a frontend or full-stack background and grow into browser-level C++ feature work over time.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Implementing browser-integrated Web UI (e.g. AI conversations, browser settings, new tab page) using Typescript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS with React as well as other frameworks such as Web Components, Svelte and Lit
    • Working with our product development team to collaborate on designs and specs and bring them to life on Brave's desktop and mobile browsers
    • Integrating with custom browser APIs using Chromium's communications frameworks.
    • Helping to customize the native UI provided by Chromium to add new product features and modify existing features. These UI elements include toolbars, modals, buttons, and more
    • Delivering code which is well tested with high confidence
    • Working alongside and learn from our experienced Chromium engineers - helping with peer reviews and helping improve our engineering processes

    Required experience:

    • Strong skills building complex web apps with state management
    • Deep knowledge of a Javascript UI framework such as React, Svelte, Vue, or native Web Components
    • Proven expertise with CSS for building UI

    ROLE DETAILS

[AM / PM] Shift — USA Pacific Time

    Full-time: 5 days/week or 6 days/week

Pay: Based on experience. Six-day schedules receive higher compensation.

REQUIREMENTS — YOU MUST MEET ALL OF THESE

4+ years of experience in short-term rental co-hosting, property management, or STR hospitality operations

Hands-on experience with Guesty or Hostaway

    Strong written and spoken English

Reliable internet, stable workspace, and full availability during your assigned shift

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We want someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and hospitality-driven. Someone who takes ownership of problems and solves them without being told to. Someone who can communicate with guests professionally under pressure, think clearly during difficult situations, and treat every interaction like it matters. If you need to be micromanaged, this is not the right fit.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main focus is front-end guest communication. This includes messaging and calling guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, coordinating maintenance, communicating with cleaners and handymen, following up on open issues, screening reservations, and supporting channel communications.

    SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will also assist with backend tasks including claims filing, review removal, responding to reviews, listing creation and updates, and daily task tracking. Guest communication always comes first.

    TOOLS WE USE

Guesty, PriceLabs, Enso Connect, Autohost, HelloHost, OpenPhone, Slack, Monday.com

    HOW TO APPLY

Reply to this listing with everything below included. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

    - Your resume and a short message covering your total years in STR, the type of operation you worked for, and roughly how many units you managed or supported.

    - Complete two personality assessments. Take both today and do not submit old results. Save your full results page for each and include both:

First: Go to tonyrobbins.com/disc and take the free DISC assessment.

Second: Go to 16personalities.com and take the free personality test.

    - A Loom video recorded at loom.com, between 3 and 5 minutes. Cover three things: your STR background and the types of operations you have worked for; walk through one specific difficult guest situation you personally handled and how you resolved it; and explain why you are applying to this role. Do not read from a script.

    - Your written responses to the scenarios below. Take your time. This should take 20 to 30 minutes.

Scenario A: It is 11:30 PM. A guest sends this message: "The AC isn't working and it's 85 degrees in here. We have a baby. This is unacceptable. I want a full refund and I'm leaving a 1-star review." Your maintenance contact is not responding. The next available technician cannot come until 9 AM. Write the exact message you send to the guest right now. Write the exact message you send to the maintenance contact. Write what you log in the daily report. Then in 2 to 3 sentences, explain why you responded to the guest the way you did.

Scenario B: It is 8:30 AM at the start of your shift. You open your task board and see four things. One: a guest checking in today at 3 PM is requesting early check-in at noon and the unit is not cleaned yet. Two: a guest who checked out this morning left a complaint about a broken shower head. Three: a review from 3 days ago has not been responded to. Four: a new reservation just came in flagged by Autohost for review. List these in the order you would handle them and explain why.

Scenario C: A guest checks out and leaves a 3-star review that says: "Good location but the team was slow to respond." You personally replied to every message within 15 minutes during their stay. Write the public response you would post.

Qualified applicants will be contacted for an interview. All new hires begin with a one-month paid trial period.

    Sr Software Engineer B E
    • Rebuy, Inc.
    • Remote
    senior backend php go

    The Company You’ll Join

At Rebuy, we’re on a mission to revolutionize shopping with intelligent, personalized experiences that wow customers around the globe. As a fully remote team, we power some of the fastest-growing DTC brands like Aviator Nation, Liquid Death, Magic Spoon, Blenders, Laird Superfoods, Primal Kitchen, and many more.

We believe in ownership, drive, and empathy, and strongly uphold that every team member plays a vital role in shaping the future of intelligent commerce. Our culture thrives on collaboration, creativity, and genuine passion. We don’t just build great tech - we build lasting partnerships, a strong community, and a place where people love to work.

    The Problems You’ll Solve

Rebuy and its team members continually strive to create a high-spirited, intentional work environment that stresses performance, productivity, collaboration, and merit.

As a Sr. Software Engineer, Back-End, you’ll own some of the most consequential systems at Rebuy. Your primary anchor is our billing and payments infrastructure — the engine that determines how merchants are charged, how partners get paid, and how financial balances flow across our entire product suite. This is genuinely complex financial engineering. It requires deep PHP and Go expertise, careful architecture, and judgment that no automated tool can replicate. Merchant billing runs daily, touches real revenue, and demands someone who understands both the technical and business dimensions of every decision.

Alongside billing, you’ll grow into a broader platform portfolio — the partner portal, data ETL pipelines, customer-facing APIs, and reporting infrastructure that power the business. And in the near term, you’ll play a critical role in a significant technical migration: moving our legacy Code Igniter 2 codebase to Code Igniter 4, including work tied to increasing our enterprise market share. This migration requires hands-on PHP expertise and cannot be deferred.

You won’t be handed a sprawling list of things you must do on day one. You’ll be trusted to grow into this role — and rewarded when you do.

    • Billing & Payments Architecture: Design and build Rebuy’s centralized billing system that handles merchant billing, partner payments, and customer-facing charges. Architect the integration layer that allows payment balances to be applied across Rebuy’s full suite of services. Tackle genuinely complex financial engineering challenges with PHP and Go at scale.

    • Build Robust APIs: Design and implement secure, well-structured APIs in PHP and Go to power billing events, payment processing, and financial data flows across our platform and Shopify integrations.

    • Legacy Modernization: Lead and contribute to the migration of our Code Igniter 2 codebase to Code Igniter 4. This is high-priority, near-term work with real business dependencies — including enterprise partnership commitments — and requires a PHP engineer with the experience and judgment to do it right.

    • Agentify the Platform: Partner with product and engineering to identify where AI agents can automate workflows, surface insights, and guide merchants through our product. Build the backend systems — APIs, data pipelines, and event hooks — that enable intelligent automation. This is genuinely new territory and one of the most exciting growth vectors for Rebuy’s product.

    • Platform Breadth: Our team owns more than billing and payments — we also support a partner portal, data ETL pipelines, customer-facing reporting APIs, and the infrastructure that makes data flow reliably across the business. You won’t be responsible for all of it on day one, but you’ll have genuine opportunities to grow into the areas that most interest you. Engineers here don’t get siloed; they get context.

    • Engineering Best Practices: Contribute significantly to the engineering culture at Rebuy by establishing, documenting, and promoting best practices. Lead initiatives to introduce and standardize frameworks and tools that increase development efficiency and maintainability.

    • Security & Compliance: Stay current with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and best practices as they apply to billing and payment systems. Champion security-first engineering across authentication, authorization, data encryption, and compliance considerations in everything you build.

    • PHP Technical Leadership: Serve as a key technical anchor for PHP across the engineering organization. Rebuy’s codebase has significant PHP depth and relatively few engineers with that expertise. You’ll lead code reviews, share knowledge actively, and help raise the PHP competency of the broader team.

    • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on deliverables to ensure code, setup, and configurations meet expected results. Ensure that all features meet high standards of quality and performance before deployment.

    • Team Collaboration: Engage actively in building a strong team culture. Work closely with the Product Owner, Engineering Manager, and peers across billing, payments, partner tools, and data infrastructure to define requirements, estimate effort, and drive solutions forward. This is a team where your voice matters — you won’t just be handed tickets. Assist the Support team in triaging and resolving high-priority production issues.

    Technologies We Use:

    • AI: Anthropic Enterprise Claude Code / Co-work, Cursor, Adhoc AI tools budget.

    • Frontend Technologies: React, TypeScript, GraphQL, VueJS, Angular

    • Backend technologies: PHP, GO, MySQL, BigTable, Elasticsearch

    • Other Tools: Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Google Suite, Slack, One Password, Notion

    Who You Are

We’re stoked to meet you and get to learn more about you, your experience and your interest in joining our team.

    The Hard Skills:

    • Experience building or maintaining billing, payments, or financial systems — including working with payment processors, subscription engines, invoicing pipelines, or similar financial infrastructure in a production SaaS environment.

    • Educational background in CS // Engineering or a similar area.

    • 5+ years of hands-on experience building backend applications with PHP and Go, with a proven track record of delivering complex, high-traffic systems.

    • Experience designing and implementing secure, scalable, and maintainable RESTful APIs in PHP and Go, with a deep understanding of API design patterns, versioning, and performance optimization.

    • Experience with cloud-based technologies, preferably GCP.

    • Strong understanding of a performant SaaS environment.

    • Experience in a Scrum/Agile environment.

    • Experience with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Bitbucket.

    • Solid understanding of security fundamentals as they apply to backend and financial systems — including secure coding practices, authentication/authorization patterns, data encryption, and awareness of current vulnerability trends (e.g. OWASP Top 10)

    The Soft Skills:

    • A collaborative mindset and work approach with the ability to lead projects and mentor others.

    • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy and responsibilities.

    • Excellent communication skills, especially being able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    • Genuinely curious about the intersection of engineering and business. You care about the downstream impact of what you build — not just that the code works, but that it moves the company forward.

Now let’s get into who you’ll meet during our interview process! After you submit your application and it’s been reviewed by our team, we will reach out to you inviting you to meet with us. From there, you can expect an interview process similar to this:
